Melting Pot Restaurant

Service was super slow! Took forever for our food to be brought out. When I let Erin, the assistant manager, know she said she would check on it. Never returned with any feedback as to what the issues were. This was our daughters 21st birthday and the restaurant she choose to celebrate! Next time we will go to the Melting Pot in Fredericksburg. Been there numerous times. Never had an issue

First time trying this place and its definitely something different! Took us about 2 hours and a half from start to finish. Wasn't a huge fan of the cheese fondue but that was probably on us as we could've selected a different one. Everything else was pretty good and the chocolate fondue was amazing! It was pretty pricey though, not sure I would say it was worth it.

Melting Pot is good but it’s not great. It has the potential to be. But the menu needs a major re-do for years now. One thing I can name that needs to change almost immediately is the dippers for the first course, cheese. Why are we getting couple days old breads? Why no variety? Why not fresher? Off of the 4-course meal, only the dessert course is perfect which is why I gave 3 stars.

Started the night very disappointed, as we were promised a two-burner table with our reservation, due to dietary issues with part of our party. When we got there, we were told it would be at least an hour wait past our reservation time for two burners. With two kids, it was definitely a problem. We wound up having to get a table uncomfortably large to accommodate our needs. Luckily, the service from Shane more than made up for the hostess issues. He was truly exceptional, fulfilling all of our requests quickly, professionally, and with a smile. A rough start turned into a terrific experience overall.

This is one of those places you have to try with a significant other or with a group of friends at least once. It's a fun and different experience. If you love cheese and chocolate well ya just gotta experience this in a fondue format. The actual non cheese and chocolate food is good too! You can get a variety of protein (chicken, beef, shrimp) and veggies to fondue in your choice of broth. If you found this review helpful please like it. Thank you!

We went to the melting pot this past Saturday night and had Nefra as our server. She made our experience so enjoyable and had so many great suggestions. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We are looking forward to coming again!

So so so so good!! You can cook your own food and dip your food in chocolate, or cheese, depending on what your eating. I had steak and I cooked on the grill, but you can also cook it in the chick broth. The chocolate dipping for dessert was amazing! You can even dip pineapple and bananas! There are so many combinations!

Great food! Definitely recommend at least trying it once if you have never been to a fondue restaurant. This is a place that is worth coming back to in order to try more on the menu. The cheese was delicious, the meat was tasty, and the chocolate was divine! Seriously would come just for the cheese and chocolate.Edit: It is also nice to see the owner of The Melting Pot responding to the Google reviews. Within a matter of a few hours there was a response to my review. This shows that the management truly values the opinions of the patrons!

Celebrated my daughter’s 18th birthday here tonight and everything was amazing. Our serve was Mitch who wonderful. We were happy to have him as our server. Shortly after starting our meal the manager came by to check on us and wished my daughter a happy birthday. Near the end of our meal a pleasant young woman took our picture and printed it off for us. She was just as pleasant as the manager and Mitch. We could not have asked for a better evening! Thanks everyone who made this night a little more special for her.

Stay away from this location. Food was only ok. Definitely not worth the money. The waiter and the manager were the problem. Waiter never offered us refills on drinks in the 3 hours it took her to serve us and forgot to put the birthday balloons on the table as we requested. But they didn’t forget to charge us $15 for them. We were eating with 2 kids under 6 and they made us purchase meals for them as well. This is not an all you can eat restaurant and the kids didn’t even like it. We were celebrating a birthday, but this ruined it. Manager on duty didn’t even care when we brought this to his attention.

We went for our anniversary during Happy Hour. We love the ambience of the space and the bar area was cozy. We did feel a little forgotten in the bar. Overall we had a good experience, but not as good as other visits to this establishment.

Always- ALWAYS a great experience! Impeccable service, quality of food, and atmosphere. Told them I had won an award at work and they brought me a chocolate covered strawberry with “Congrats” written on the plate. Such a sweet and personal touch !

I admire this place a lot. theres a great atmosphere. The kitcen is superb. the service is effective and the personel is professional. The price is modest. deeply recommend.

Excellent and very patient service. The food is excellent. Clean and attractive. Great place for a date or special occasion. More expensive, but worth the money for the great experience.

The EXPERIENCE is amazing! The food is fresh. Carefully choose your base if you get the wrong one it can ruin the experience.
