Excellent, fresh authentic Italian cuisine!Also very kind and friendly staff.. love this place 👍🏻👌🏻🙌🏻🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟

Food:- Pizza - very good, cooked upon ordering. A nice light airy crust - different than most places. It is light though so won't get full, if you're hungry. The tray size is more than 2x the regular round, so get that to split if you're hungry. They also packed it nicely when we had leftovers - aluminum foil to separate the 2 layers of pizza.-- Diavolo is lightly spicy. good.- Lasagna - Not super meaty, but was good. Not a large portion if that's all you're getting- Bucatini cacio e pepe - very creamy and heavy. Also small portion, but it is rich.- bracola - good starter, came with greens and Parma cheeseService is friendly, but a little slow (at least later, on a weeknight) - the waiter seemed to be doing double duty, also working in the kitchen.It's a bit hard to hear in there - from music, open door (was a nice day) and non-sound absorbing walls.

A small 14th pasta place with brick walls and cramped tables. The place has excellent food and attentive staff. The breadsticks served were also delicious because they were pizza crusts with tomato sauce. Definitely would recommend eating here if it isn’t crowded. Hope this helps!

Had dinner at this place twice and always satisfying. Went with friends before Xmas and we had one kind from each category of food. We ordered caprese salad, bruschette, pizza and parpadelle Bolognese. We all loved the Bolognese, and the caprese salad with really fresh cherry tomatoes.

My friend and I came here during a time when the place wasn't too busy. They were only serving one other table besides ours, when we started ordering. That being said, service was still very slow. It seems as if they're short on staff. There was only one waiter and he was the only one working even when it started getting busier. He seemed like a nice person, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was trying his best. Still, it took a while before he came back to take our order and that was only because my friend went to the counter got his attention. The food itself didn't take too long to arrive so at least there's that, but when the waiter gave us our food, he asked if we wanted parmesan and we said yes, but he never came back with it, so we decided to start eating without it and didn't ask again. Now for the food: we ordered the Paccheri alla Norma. Honestly, the sauce and everything had great flavor, but the pasta was too firm for my liking.

Such detail and finesse in the sauces! I had a classic spaghetti and marinara with a veggie pizza slice to go. I can easily put their food in my top 10 list in NYC. Must go! 3rd Av!

Great gnocchi. The square pizza was good, but it tasted surprisingly better cold at home than warm at the pizzeria or warmed up at home. The service was brusque, but not bad.

The pasta was too salty and very smaller. Barely enough for one person. The pizza I order was mediocre.
