Malones - Louisville

Tonight, my wife placed an online order for a stay-at-home date night and upon delivery we discovered that they left out an entree and sauce for an appetizer. I called to complain and spoke with a manager named Austin. I respectfully explained the circumstances and then THE GUY DROVE TO MY HOUSE TO DELIVER THE CORRECTION! I don't know who his bosses are but THAT is what commitment and leadership looks like. I sincerely hope he gets every last cent we tipped the online order team!

Ok. This place is going to be one of the most popular restaurants in the city. Have been for both lunch and dinner. The servers are some of the most attentive, pleasant I’ve ever had. Blue cheese apple salad kind of addictive. Steak at dinner was perfect. Hard to get in for dinner plan ahead.

Definitely a place for your special moments in life! I typically go to Malone's a few times a year and the ambiance is pleasing and always clean. I've been to Harry's (Upstairs) and this past weekend on Saturday, I decided to have lunch at the Malone's bar (Where the bourbon wall is). I wanted something quiet and since it was before their dinner rush, I figured it would be a great option. Once I sat at the bar, I was greeted by the bartender, Isi. He grabbed me a water promptly and asked if I wanted something else to drink. I decided on a pinot grigio which was fresh and smooth as it was a new bottle. I decided to order a NY strip, the Manhattan one. Prior to my meal, I had their famous Lexingtonian salad and it did not disappoint. I'm not even a fan of specific dressings and I had some. My steak was cooked to the temperature I wanted and was season graciously. The food was prodigious! While sitting at the bar I was also greeted by their general manager, Calvin and the assistant general manager, Chris. Great guys who checked to make sure my service was up to their standards throughout my dining experience. I would recommend this restaurant over most steak houses in Louisville.

I would normally give Malones all 5 stars. Service has always been perfect, food always the best. But our visit last Saturday I was served a $60 steak that I couldn't taste because someone spilled the salt shaker on it. I only managed to eat half of it it was so over- seasoned. I hope Malone's hasn't succumbed to the trend of ruining a great perfectly cooked piece of beef by dumping a quarter cup of seasoning on it.

Beautiful bar. Large restaurant. Food was good. Did not care for an overly charged crust on my steak. Seated in the last 2 person booth outside of the kitchen.

The food is fire, so is the service and atmosphere. We always ask for Andrew as our waiter.

Started visit with a Billionaires Coffee which was absolutely delicious. Then after a couple of rounds of Lexingtonian Salad and bread I had the 12oz Filet Mignon with Lobster Mac N Four Cheese. Salad and steak were perfect; the lobster mac n four cheese was actually a little bland but still good. Finished off dinner with a piece of pumpkin cheesecake which was perfect.

Was finally able to come visit the Louisville location and had an awesome time. Please note that in almost all cases, reservations are required! Our party of 6 all enjoyed different entrees, and everything was met with rave reviews. We look forward to returning to try more of the menu. Our waiter, Robbie, was very attentive, cordial, and speedy! There is something for everyone on the menu, and you can't go wrong!

Malone's is great. Their food and service is top notch. If you want the same food and be in a more relaxed atmosphere, go to the second floor and enjoy Harry's!

Beautiful place, amazing potential. Too bad the food was a disappointment. Ordered the calamari (almost $18). And it was so overcooked, all tenderness was gone. It was hard and dry. Such a shame - if you don’t get the food right, what’s the point? The crème brûlée was good.

One of the best meals we have ever had!! Service was AMAZING! Christian was our server, and he made the evening even more special for us! LOVED the steaks!

Top notch service and delicious food. We were treated well on our birthday and anniversary celebrations.

Celebrated a St Patrick’s Day birthday the day before, and was excited to try this restaurant. Had a 7:00 reservation and was seated around 7:15. Was seated in front where we could see the bar area (which is amazing to see). Overall, the dining experience was disappointing. My filet mignon was very good and cooked as I requested. My husband’s sirloin was unevenly cooked with part overcooked and part undercooked. His mushrooms came out cold. We didn’t send anything back because our waitress didn’t come back to the table very often. My tea sat empty for over half my meal, so I ended up drinking the rest of the water they brought us when we sat down. Our waitress seemed to be more attentive to the tables ordering more alcoholic drinks. Not the service or the quality of food we expected from an establishment of this caliber.

The bread and butter was amazing. The Mac and cheese I got was pretty good the rest of the food seemed too salty for me. The service was slow we waited a really long time just to get out drinks then it was forever til we seen our waitress again and it continued like that the whole time we were there. She was sweet as can be and got what we wanted whenever we had a chance to ask just didn't see much of her.
