Majestic Delicatessen

I made a purchase here and ask to add extra hot water to my tea, but whole crew behind the counter refused. They said and need to pay another $4 dollars to add hot water in the cup I just purchased. I guess it is place for tourists so this cafe don’t care about its reputation.

Excellent!! We ordered 2 pastrami sandwiches, along with a couple Dr Bown's sodas paid around $38. Prices much more reasonable at $15.95 compared to Katz's. Which we had the night before. The sandwiches were piled high with wonderful great pastrami. Bread was fresh and soft. Personally would recommend Majestic over Katz after the differing experiences we had. While there is no table service here, was not needed. You order at counter and pay. We had barely sat down and our sandwiches were ready. If you find yourself in NYC, I would definitely recommend you trying them out.
