Mahdang Korean Restaurant

the. best. Korean food. I have had many good Korean food in DC metro area and this place is the best. The wait here is a bit long but food here is absolutely worth it.

Mahdang is so much better than the last restaurant MOA at this location. Better service — really nice welcoming Korean women (didn’t feel judged). Food was better too- worth coming back for. Their spicy sauce is a bit on the sweet side but I noticed that at other Korean restaurants too (not a deal breaker). Good seafood dolsot and pork belly. Good bonchon (not a huge spread of them but enough). The spicy bibim naengmyun was Too spicy (and sweet) for one person- good if sharing but I liked the other two dishes more. Will be coming back! Price is comparable to other Korean restaurants.

Lovely Korean restaurant. The beef short ribs Galbi bibimbap was delicious. Served with soup and delectable banchan.

We had an excellent experience in this place. We liked the wonderful ambience and the menu. The staff were very attentive. I am content we ultimately managed to visit this spot.

Found this place on Google. Was in the mood for Korean food, but wanted to stay local. Found out that this restaurant was so close to my residence. The interior was bright and has a "homey & comfy" atmosphere. The people working there were very nice and they speak english. No language barrier at all. They played kpop music, but wasn't loud and over bearing like some places. Me and my friend ordered the steam dumplings (mandu) comes with a seasoned spiced soy sauce, but you can ask for plain soy sauce if you want. We also ordered the bulgogi bibimbop and udon. Entrees comes with tasteful side dishes as well. Me and my friend just hit jackpot, we enjoyed our dinner and plan on visiting more often while bringing more friends in the future. 👍👌

This was the best food ever, especially on a cold rainy day. This is a hidden gem restaurant located in an business park. The owner was super and explain about the dishes and the fresh ingredients she uses. We also had the bulgogi and a great pork belly lettuce wrap dish. They use doordash for their delivery

Awesome spot to buy some food when in a rush. Their customer service is speedy, pricing is fair, excellent atmosphere. Will visit here again

This is my first time to visit here. It is reallt awesome and great. I ordered jokbal and gamjatang. The side dish is also great.

Best Korean in Rockville/Bethesda/Gaithersburg. Such a nice people running this place and the food is delicious

Really liked this place. Very home atmosphere. Had a little bit of trouble communicating but manageable. The food was great. So far haven't tried anything I didn't like here.

My roommate and I ordered take out from Mahdang, the food was packaged perfectly. Great banchan! The bulgogi and spicy pork belly are fantastic! Will definitely order from here again. Highly recommend!!!

Got takeout from here and the LA galbi and japchae were great. Can't wait to come back and actually get to eat in the restaurant! In the meantime we will definitely order from here again!
