La Merise

Had dinner at this restaurant last night. It was just around the corner from our hotel, which was convenient. The ambiance, food, and service were excellent. Our waiter, Roger, gave us the very best information regarding both food, and portion size, so we were able to chose wisely. I can’t say enough about our meal. We split the avocado and crab salad, which was the perfect size and was not overwhelming. My husband had the pork, and I had the duck. Both entrees were fabulous, and well prepared. We each had a glass of wine to compliment our food, again, following Roger’s suggestions. A most enjoyable, and relaxing meal. Our compliments to the chef.

It was good. Very crowded and noisy could hardly hear people in my party.

Upscale yet very comfortable and cozy. The food has great flavor. The wait staff knows when and how often to show up. Couldn't be better.

This has to be my new favorite restaurant in Denver area. The atmosphere is cozy and the food amazing

Lovely French restaurant with low key, mellow ambiance, soft lighting and warm walls. Excellent food and good, affordable wine list.

Very good French cuisine and atmosphere.

Truly excellent French food. They're offering delivery and pickup while restaurants are closed in the city, and I can say they absolutely did not disappoint. We were hankering for French food to go along with the wine we brought back with us from Bordeaux during our France trip last fall, and La Merise fit the bill. They had our delicious food to us in under 30 minutes. Not the cheapest delivery option, but 100% worth. Also, their house red was great too, and currently half off.

A wonderful French spot to have brunch. The corn beef hash with crepe and seafood dish were both amazing. The service and atmosphere were great.

Done just like in France. Great French cuisine across the menu with all of the favorites and daily specials. And a nice selection of affordable French wines. Shaded patio is perfect for outdoor dining on hot days.

We had lunch at this lovely cafe in honor of our children’s godmother, a French woman of wonderful character and very good taste. She was slightly disappointed by her meal and felt that it was not quite what she hoped for. My wife and I, on the other hand, felt that our meals were delightful. Our son had only a mild reaction to his French onion soup, but praised the salad. Clearly, we all need to return for another lunch soon, in hopes of reaching a definitive appraisal.

Went for lunch and I had a delicious crepe. Had a glass of house wine, which was good. Definitely want to return to try other menu items.

Great place for classic French food. The menu is all classic dishes that are done right. My personal highlights were the beef bourguignon and onion soup.

Want to go to Paris??? This place hits the spot. We went for lunch and it so Reminds me of a bistro cafe -from the setting to the servers to the delicious and thoughtful food. Started with escargot- so good- came out boiling got with lots of butter and herbs to soak up with our French bread. Then he got the beef crepe with frites. The sauce was to die for- got another side to gluttonously dip the fries in 🤫. I got one of my favorite dishes from France, the niçois salad. Excellent. Looked a little different than I expected and perhaps smaller but I assure it was so perfectly balanced and was the perfect amount. Capers, potato, tuna, green beans, yes yes yes. If you've never had one you don't know what you're missing!!Oh and the jam with the bread, the creme brulee and the desert of the day- Violet honey cake!!!! Ok I think we're going back very very soon 😋😍👍🏻🇫🇷⚜️

Food and wine are decent. The decor will definitely put you in the mood for some french food and the staff is very friendly.

Service is very good, food is good. Have certainly enjoyed better food at other Denver restaurants. I would not be interested in returning for future dinner plans and would not recommend to a discriminating colleague.
