Excellent food and found out they deliver too, which is a great!

This was an excellent visit! The place is La Fontana, on the corner of 12th St. and Spruce St., and the food is exquisite - try the best calamari fritti in Philly, just to get started - and then do the very fresh arugula salad, and then follow with the perfectly prepared and extremely delicious farfalle primavera. The service was great and friendly and patient. This is a wonderful restaurant, and with restaurant staff like Ervis and Giovanni, you simply can't go wrong. A rather Americanized version of Italian food, not horrible but not exceedingly tasty either. The location of the restaurant is prime and the look is enticing, but the food does not live up to the expectations that entails.
