Food is simply okay. However, my biggest issue is they try to force you to spend $10 if you use a card. They won't allow you to pay whatever the charge maybe if your total is under $10. If you decide to eat here...bring cash.

For 2 years, this was the closest lunch joint to my office. It used to be run by a young guy and his parents helped. But he just split one day (can't say I blame him) and left the parents (the owners?) to run it. The mother is clearly resentful of this and is either artifically sweet or downright rude. And she either doesn't know or doesn't care to follow any food safety guidelines. Like washing hands between handling money and food. And not storing food in open boxes on the floor. Under a hand sink. Or cross contamination of all sorts. I stopped eating prepared food there and walk an extra block or two to get something else. I'd only go in for the atm, a packaged item (soda or chips) or to get something for my boss who didn't care about these issues. Oy. I feel bad for the grill guy. He's the only one who seems to have a clue but for some reason stays anyway
