Restaurants in the Times Square/Broadway area are understandably disastrously full around showtimes, but Real Kung Fu really seems to handle it worst than most.Once you get in, though, you do get solid, authentic Shanghainese food. We ordered across the menu and didn't find any problem items. Certainly a good restaurant, if you can stand the wait.

When it comes to flavor they deliver, everything tastes as good as it looks and the prices are decent. I went on a Sunday and it was pretty full, people are constantly coming in and out, the venue is small but cozy. I wish I could've stayed longer but it's more of an eat-and-run kind of place. The staff is attentive and courteous and the fried pork buns worth a thousand minutes of wait. I tried steamed buns, fried buns, pancake and steak, as well as hand cut fried noodles and all the items were delicious. But for me the fried buns were the best!

Best noodles I’ve ever had - the hand cut noodles. The flavor in the soup buns is unbelievable. A new favorite here.
