Loved Ji Shi for so many reasons! Wonderful staff, knowledgeable, and overall great service! Their Açaí Bowls blew my mind. Their paella nights are definitely an experience you can’t pass up! They cook outside in a big pan for anyone to see. It’s refreshing to eat at a place where I genuinely love the food and people. I know I’ll be going back.

On our last night in the Santa Rosa Beach area, we decided to give Ji Shi a try. Located in the old 45 Central Wine and Sushi Bar space. New concept. New layout. New decor. New menu. New chef. It did not disappoint! Smart fun friendly vibe. We went for the paella, which was excellent btw. However we couldn’t resist trying other things on the menu. Surf ‘n’ Turf Tartare was beautifully presented and delicious. Have not seen anything done quite that way before. Short rib Wellington, once again a beautiful presentation, was not only delish but much lighter than one would expect. Then the Chopstick ribs. Just need chopsticks to eat these yummy fall off the bone ribs! Not sure how the 4 of us ate all of this and the paella, but it was all too good to leave on the plate. Our server, Laura, did a great job taking care of us. Congrats Chef Jason and team! We will be back.
