This is hands down the best Ramen restaurant I have ever been too. They have so many great options. They have a wide selection of sides and the staff took their time to show us how to properly do a Sake bomb even when the place was extremely busy.

I have dined at Jinya plenty now to say this is a genuine Japanese style restaurant. I used to live in Japan and this beef bowl is a main dish over there. I have had the pleasure of having hope as my waitress a couple of times, have to say she makes the best lemonade. Her service and smile is amazing as well. Definitely a place to go if you want to go to Japan to try some food without paying $1800 for the ticket.

I'm not going to lie I have had a lot of really good ramen and this place has to be one of the best. The atmosphere is really neat. The staff was really nice to include from walking into the door the hostess as well as our waiter and any interaction in between. Fairly priced. All around great place to check out. Highly recommend. Thanks for giving us such a good date night for valentines!

Questions & Answers

If you pick a time that it is not busy. When I went the waitress sat us by the kitchen. So it was a bit noisy. As far as kids being welcomed. It all depends upon the atmosphere your going for. The space has comforting lighting and I am not sure its a restaurant kids would be able to be kids and be loud. But this also depends on how you define "child friendly". I did not see a child menu.

Yes, you can substitute kale noodles for $2 extra.

Typical for DC(limited). I went on foot after taking a metro to the area.
