Jay's Artisan Pizzeria

This is some of the best pizza I've ever had in Buffalo. That is, if you prefer thin style pizza over the Buffalo thick.

The pizza is amazing here. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it every once in a while. The dough and ingredients are so fresh and delicious. It's a good idea to call ahead because they may run out of dough and once they do, you cannot place an order for that night. I definitely recommend checking it out. You can dine in, however, I ordered 2 pizzas to go. I ordered the Funghi, and the Margherita pizza. My favorite was the Funghi which is a rotational special currently. I can't wait to go back!

Buffalo is a pizza and wing town. I’ve been all over the country and the pizza here is better than anywhere despite the NYC or Chicago pizza reputation. So when my wife recommended pizza for dinner I was excited for some cheese and pep with some blue cheese and dipping it with my NY pizza fold. When I came home and she mentioned the pizza had honey and none of the traditional traits I was not too happy. Pizza and Honey?? Sounds like something whipped up when the college kids come home and eat the 3 things edible in the kitchen. I’ll try anything once so I sat down and gave it a shot. I was sold after one delicious bite. Great job Jays Artisan. You are pizza artists!!!

Great Napolitano pizza. Very good Detroit pizza as well. No frills inside but all about the execution of the food. Salads look good so do desserts. Pizza world class. Excellent sauce and nice chewy crust.

I've driven by Jay's many times and really never thought to drop in. My friend has a wood fire pizza oven and we make pizzas during the summertime. My family and I stopped in and what a treat! Fresh and delicious! No wonder why they win awards. The staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. Cant wait to stop in again soon.

The food was amazing! Delicious dough , flavorful sauce... loved the cherry peppers on my pepperoni pizza (Sicilian hot cherry pepper pizza). Only thing I didn’t like was the charge for water ($1) and it’s given in a small glass...( 8oz)

This pizza is the BEST in town!! It is so good that you feel guiltless eating because it’s not heavy it’s perfect!! The crust is the best around. The vibe makes me feel as if I am in NYC .. Best Best Best. Please think of opening out in Clarence/Williamsville

Nice place for a quick bite to eat. My pizza was good even though the dough was not fully done and toppings not fully cooked. I would be willing to give it another shot as I feel like the quality of ingredients are there. They also serve beer and wine which is nice. The prices are a little high for the size but I prefer quality over quantity.

Sorry, I thought the pizzas we ordered were mediocre. They were basically a bland "artisanal pizza" (basically just a regular pizza on flatbread). We paid close to $50 for two average pizzas and two salads that were basically big bowls of arugula, and the place has absolutely no charm or atmosphere. There are much better options in Buffalo!

I guess jays is doing ok. Called at 5 pm for dinner pick up and we were told they were already sold out. I say good for them!

The service was good and someone had a Caesar salad which looked very good. I didn't care for how burned my pizza it was which gave it a bitter taste.

I’ve tried every “Buffalo Best Pizza” place since I’ve moved here and none of them were nearly as good as Jay’s. This is the go-to spot now.

Jay’s rivals the best. It’s as good as anywhere. Always gotta get a little of both (Neapolitan style and his square Detroit like style). When he’s got focaccia on the menu, that’s a must! And if you need something a little green with your meal, the salads are simple but fresh, good quality ingredients and delicious! Always better to dine in then carry out but delicious regardless. Update-also keep up with their Instagram so you can check out their NY slice pop up! Excellent slices!
