Jake's and Cooper's Wine Bar

The pizza was amazing. We had the 3 Cheese, Lisa's and Mission Fig pizzas. But the Shrimp Dumplings were tasteless and the cheese board was really under served. Would go the again, but stick to the pizza.

We've been here several times through the years, although this was the first time in about 2 years. We got here early after coming back from center city. Hostess was friendly and accommodating letting us sit at a table chosen by my 9 year son. We had the cheese plate to start, then I had the hangar steak and husband had the salmon. They made a regular cheese pizza for our son which he loved; it was delicious, with a thin, well cooked crust and a combo of cheese which had good salt and tang. Very good. Our dinners were very good as well but my steak was room temperature not hot. They were having some issues with not enough servers/runners which they acknowledged both verbally and with free drinks which we really appreciated. We also had the chocolate pot de cream for dessert and the ice cream sampler. Skip the ice cream sampler. The pot de cream was excellent, large enough to share, with a deep but not overpowering chocolate flavor, not too sweet, with a caramel top. Yum.

Comfortable atmosphere, great wine and food, and amazing burger! I'm always happy here. :)

Nice ambiance. A little pricey....But the service is great and the menu covers all the standard for categories, including anything you'd want in terms of food, wine, and beer. It's a staple of Manayunk.Recommend!

Hands down my favorite spot in Manayunk. The menu is solid and consistent. Never disappoints. Good wine/beer list.

Everything is made fresh in house. Loved the veal and smoked pasta. Ice cream tacos were also fantastic! Our server was very personable and knowledgeable. I hope to return

Great brunch menu! Lots of variety. Everything we ordered was beautifully cooked and delicious. We had relaxing and unrushed meal.

Really friendly staff. For a wine bar they have a few really great beers available and the happy hour prices are solid. The wine selection is good considering this is a wine bar. The entrees are a bit better than the small plates. Would definitely come back to try the pizza.

My wife and I had a phenomenal experience. This is not our first time at this restaurant but tonight superseded every other experience at the restaurant. We were greeted at the door by a guy who asked me how I was doing. (Little did he know prior to me coming in to the restaurant, I just had the worse experience just a few doors down at another location) . I told him hopefully I'll do better here. Gave him a the tiny version of the story from the other place. He walked us to our table and told us we will be taken care of. I wasn't asking for a free meal or a discount. Just wanted a nice place to sit and take the wife and get away from everything for a few hours. He comes out to our table and drops an appetizer off and says hope this helps while you wait. Right there I knew it was going to be a great experience. I not only recommend this place because of this experience but even with out prior visits the service is perfect. Can't wait to go back.

Wow what a gem nestled on Manayunk’s Main Street. Everything you wanted in fine dining accept the pretentiousness !! Chef Abdull and Staff are serving up fine dining with Exquisite food.. The Escargot was delectable and the Chef’s choice if fine Oysters had my mouth watering!!! Kudos to the great staff and excellent customer service that we received from the time we reached the front door until we made our exit filled with great salutations and fare wells.... Wow what a great Date Night for me and my Baby!!! 2/28/20
