Hopskeller Brewing Company is an award-winning, 10-bbl brewpub in the heart of historic downtown Waterloo, Illinois. The ales made on-site focus on Northwestern American and English styles. In addition to craft beer and a full bar (which offers one of the most comprehensive offerings of local Illinois wines in the area), we also serve pizzas, brats, hot dogs, and pretzels from our wood-fired oven. Salads and soup are also available. Come enjoy our beer and food in a gorgeous historic setting. Our pet-friendly patio is open year-round. Winner of the 2018 Saint Louis Post-Dispatch GO! Having had four years to try various bars in the beer-loving college city of Ann Arbor, I was pleasantly surprised to find a brand-new place as good as any of them right here in Waterloo, where I grew up. Hopskeller is spacious but full of character, a beautiful place. Of the 7-8 beers I tried, I would gladly re-order Tower Hill Strong Bitter, Moorgate, and Northern English Brown Ale. All four of the wood fire pizzas we tried were excellent. This is my new favorite place in Waterloo.

Really cool space. The craft cocktails are delicious & the beer was great. Good food too. Staff was really friendly & helpful. Will definitely be back.
