This is where a food truck puts down its roots. There are some great things about this spot as it is in the middle of the So Mo reguvenation project. It is across the street from Proof Brewing Company, blocks from Cascade Park. There are a few tables inside, several bar stools at the bar and lots of seating outside. Go there to enjoy the atmosphere and the delights of flavorful mac and cheese many different ways. Give them a shot and hang out with friends and some cold drinks. Whoever picked the playlist for the music coming from the speakers needs a gold star. Jeremy Shaw

I love Happy Motoring! Mac shack has been added to the building at it's a wonderful part of the experience. This is the buffalo chicken mac pictured.The manager Ryan is so sweet and helpful. He always makes great drink suggestions and I love seeing him whenever I visit.

Great selection and atmosphere. Fantastic to have such an interesting food option built in with the Mac Shack. The service is quick and courteous and the patio/lawn area is relaxing and clean! The only possible improvements I can imagine would be having a few draft beers and a vegan option or two!

Happiness is here! The drinks are always on point and the staff is Aahh-Mazing! We love how kid friendly it is. The food trucks here are a perfect t pair with all the drinks!

This place is pretty cool, it is kept clean the bathrooms have quite a unique but funny sign on them.The service is quick and exactIt is definitely a great place for tourists to drop by to see what, Tallahassee is all about and locals to chill out after a long work day 😊👍

I love this place. It's a fun summer afternoon hangout with lawn games, picnic tables, and an indoor bar if you want to get out of the heat. Dog friendly too!

Mac Shack Food Truck has a southside home. Delicious BBQ mac n cheese next to Proof. Small with cool vibe.

A real nice place to grab a drink and enjoy a real nice atmosphere! Staff was polite, happy, and attentive. Need to come here more often and will make this a routine in the future 👍

Interesting spot with a small bar serving locally (FL) brewed beer, cider, and on-demand frozen adult 'drink pouches'. Sit indoors or at a host of outdoor tables. Home to Tally Mac Shack. What could be better than yummy cheesy goodness with a locally brewed cold one?

Thanks for letting us bring our fur babies (puppies.) We had a wonderful time visiting with friends. Love the environment, it really attracts friendly people and desparados. Excited for the Tally Mac Shack opening there soon. The lemonade is super fantastic!!

Neat set up with inviting atmosphere. We got there pretty much at the beginning of the day so the kitchen wasn't finished setting up. Lots of disconnect between staff walking from warming tables in the kitchen to the stoves outside in the food truck. My bowl of mac and cheese was cold. If it had been from the truck on the side of the road it could have been overlooked, but the truck has roots and you expect restaurant quality at this point. The flavor was good and my guess is that a bit more time and a check with a thermometer to make sure the food is ready to be served would add a star or two. Jeremy Shaw
