This is a GEM that I wish I'd discovered years ago! Some of the best brisket I've ever experienced as well as corned beef ... all a top a baked potato! Talk about a winning combination! This family friendly business is a must stop when visiting Indianapolis! Can't wait to visit again soon! âââââ

We are visiting Indy from North Carolina for my sons Drum Corps Championships. We stumbled upon Hanks and have been there two days in a row and are planning on going back tomorrow before we fly out. The customer service was outstanding. We walked out of there feeling like family. Although everything I have had or tasted great, I have two favorites. I had never had smoked corned beef before, but it was fantastic !! The meat was tender, not over smoked tasting, and the fat melted in your mouth! I ordered a whole sweet potato pie but when we ate it , it was not a sweet potato pie. I have no idea what type of pie it was (custard with cinnamon???), but it was the best pie I’ve had in a long time. Great food and great people running it. What else can you ask for? Great brisket! I love the BBQ sauce, it has a perfect balance to it. Not too hot but just right. The owner Hank was so sweet. He gave me a sample of brisket and corned beef, both were amazing. I will definitely return. Highly recommend.

My first time there they gave me a free sample to get me hooked. My coworker laughed at me for the sound that I involuntarily made when tasting it. It is amazing.

Great experience at Hanks! With over 15yrs of smoking brisket, Hank can throwdown with the best, including those pit masters from Texas. The brisket was smoked to perfection, tender and juicy. Will definitely go back for more.

Amazing food at a great value. Love the brisket which is so tender it melts in your mouth and the BBQ sauce is prefect with a balance of sweet and tangy. Sides were also delicious.

OMG this beats bar b que heaven and King ribs any day and I love right behind her so you know for sure I'm eating here everyday and the food is very very delicious so yes I recommend go on to Hanks and eat good for real
