Delightful cafe with intelligent and simple cuisine made with the freshest of ingredients. Limited space and close quarters with your neighbor makes for an intimate patron experience. Portions are enough to be filling, but won't weigh you down, and allows you room for their home made desserts! Each dish was packed with tastes which were easy to identify individual flavor profiles. Recommended!

25 years ago, i lived at 2 1/2 Orange Street, a block away, and my now wife lived above Lakeview Pharmacy at Logan and Broad. Before Charleston became the hipster less-sleepy action verb that it is now, there was G&M. Broad Street was much less busy, the Omni was a brand new anchor of the King Street revival, the Garden and Gun Club was in its final heyday, and Ginsburg and Glass were rockin' Spoleto Festival. I had my first real fondue here, my first croque monsieur, my first Kir Royale. We stopped in all through my early career at Spoleto and all during my wife's nursing school years at MUSC. It's good to know that Fast and French hasn't really changed. Hello croque monsieur and cold cucumber soup. It's nice to see you again...
