Gator's Dockside

I been coming here for ribs a few months. And month by month they been getting worse. I don’t know if there is a new hired cook or what. I’m not so much as angry but generally concerned about it being a health hazard. My ribs were pretty much raw that they were undercooked. Definitely scratching this place off my list, even though I don’t want to. But when someone spends twenty dollars and the meal isn’t even cooked, and this has happened multiple occasions but I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt. I was wrong too. (Pictures were taken within 20 minutes of getting my take out)

Ok where to start. Had lunch here with a few co-workers, and I don’t think anyone really enjoyed the food. This is why I chose to take a picture of the bar area, because it looked more interesting then the fish, and chips on my plate (I think they came out of a frozen bag). The fish inside was cooked, but somehow the breading was soggy. The server we had was great, but the kitchen was very slow on pushing out the less then mediocre food. If I do make it back here again it will be to just have a cold beer...

Service was slow and the ceiling air conditioner was dripping water onto my table. I ordered the wings and a salad. My food was good and dripping with sauce. Salad was fresh and dressing was plentiful. Others around me had ordered burgers and they looked good. It was Trivia night so they were busy.

Great service and good food. I had the sweet and spicy burger and it was cooked exactly like I ordered it (medium rare) - which was a real treat! Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. Given that I live in the area I'd definitely return.

They have lunch card that you get signed off and if you go on Mondays they do double sign offs. It takes 5 to get the 6th free. Bartender is great and the restaurant is a great place for all ages and to watch games

Went here one Sunday night. Service and food was good for a large group. If go back

French fries were too salty, but okay. Next time I will tell them no salt. Burger was supposed to be medium but was well cooked. Next time I will order rare. Atmosphere was excellent and so was service. It was lunch time.

We were there last night. It took forever for us to receive our food. They really weren’t that busy. Our waitress disappeared and I ended up having to go speak to the hostess to get some service. It’s a shame because we live 2 minutes from this place. We won’t be back.

The food and service were outstanding. If I get the chance to eat there again I must definitely will.

Waitress was GREAT! I ordered a salad with the Vidalia Onion Vinegrette and the jerk chicken and shrimp on a bed of rice. They didn't have the vingrette so I got one little container of ranch. Next time I'll know to order extra. They also ran out of rice and was suppose to substitute with vegetables. They didn't come and it was a different server so she was confused about it. Overall food was good but the whole event seemed unorganized and unprepared. I'll be back and see if I can get a higher review next time.

Great food and our waitress was very nice and provided wonderful service (Nicky)! Never had to ask for refills and food came out quickly and cooked correctly! Awesome place to eat!

Some things on the menu are ok but I tried the Gumbo for the first time and honestly, it was the worst I’ve ever had. So spicy I couldn’t eat it. Being raised in south La. , I’ve had great gumbo. I won’t order this again.
