Gateaux Patisserie

I love the decor and pastries. The honor cake is delicious. The coffee was great. Everything there looks well thought out and luxurious. The only thing holding me back from giving it a 5 star review is there was an awkward vibe and I'm not sure if it's because we were the only customers there.

I don't know how they call themselves a French bakery. I had an INTENSE eclair craving, so I chose this place since they're so much work to make. They were DISGUSTING. Not even average! They're actually gross! They charge so much too...what a waste. They were stale, 90% unfilled/empty, and bitter. Plus the tiny amount of filling was chocolate not custard?? I swear Kroger bakery could have done a better job. I'm now going to make some myself.

I love Gâteaux! Friendly staff and adorable decor in the shop. Would recommend to everyone. My personal favorite is the chocolate torte :)

Simply delightful! Splendid in house pastries, excellent tea and latte selections. Overall wonderful service every visit. Beautiful decor and inviting atmosphere. Great place for meeting friends, spending time with family or just enjoying a quiet moment to yourself with a cup of lavender tea, my personal favorite. Parking accessibility and in front curbside and side lot. 5 Stars.

Gateaux Patisserie was a absolutely lovely. Once I saw that all the pastries were different shades of pink (one of my favorite colors but was not expecting that when I came in) and could focus on what the actual offerings were, I was in heaven. This bakery definitely had a high end feel with prices to match ($15 for 6 macaroons) but every thing was SO good but my favorite was the carrot cake. They even had raspberry/lemon infused water that was pink. The attention to detail of all aspects was well thought out and I cannot wait to go back and try something else.
