SO delicious! My first time in it was an hour before they closed. Not only did they offer to give me the remaining chicken they had available but they told me next time to call in and they would fry it fresh for me. Everyone is so nice it truly is a great local spot with great local food.

Excellent chicken at this little old place started in1964. Nothing fancy but the fried chicken is one of the best in town! Loaded mash bowl is a must try, it comes with bacon, cheese, meshed potato, corn, and of course, fabulously fried chicken! I also tried the gizzard, and it was surprisingly good.

Oh my gosh this is the first time I've ever been to Fran's. It's everything that everyone told me about and more food there is awesome the people are very hospitable. Young and old go there just to socialize and enjoy a nice meal. I would definitely recommend this place anyone passing through or anyone that still lived around this area if they've never been like me. And the prices are definitely reasonable

Yes, i believe so

If the people who went to Kentucky Fried Chicken this is just a block or two away knew about Fran's, KFC would go out of business. The chicken tenders are the best anywhere and so are all of the rest of the pieces of the chicken that come on the bone!

They have hot sauce.

I am not associated with Frans however, the owner told me that he bought the original recipe from Fran that she used in the 1960's. After Fran and her husband got divorced and they sold the restaurant, several other people owned it before the current owner Chris. Each of them changed the recipe. But Chris went back to friends original recipe. It was the most incredible tasting Fried Chicken I've ever had! I was unaware that they ever had a restaurant on East Yamato Road.
