Cool thing about this place... Yo get an excellent selection of Founder's brews, but also some "Detroit" only brews. Also, probably one of the cheapest per pour of many breweries in MI. Add in some classic and excellent food, and you found your brewery nirvana

Went this past weekend with my wife and some friends. The food was delicious. We had the beer cheese dip to start and it was fantastic. We each had a different sandwich and loved them. Portions we're great for a very reasonable price. The beer was also fantastic of course.

i was only able to stay for a beer because it was about to close but I was very happy with the kindness of the bartender and how well they kept the place clean. I look forward to going back and spending more time.

Visited yesterday and couldn't find a table as its seat yourself. The sign that states this is written on a sign at the bottom barely visible so everyone that isn't a regular just stood at the door waiting for someone to come.We were there for probably 45 minutes and never did get a table as you have to be quick to pounce. One bartender was very nice the other had no personality. Beer i chose was not very chilled.

Stellar experience. Always liked the Founders brews, and this puts them right in the heart of Detroit. Fun space, although too cold for a patio day on 3/21/2019. Good snacks and great beer. Love the vibe that Detroit is getting.

Founders Detroit is always a good time. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. They have the best beer selection of all the breweries in Detroit.

This place is great... Definitely on the be back list. Sandwiches and craft beers are exceptional. The Philly steak and cheese is a fantastic balance of meat, cheese, and horseradish. Probably the best I have had. Wall to wall people and plenty of wait staff keep the place flowing.

Check this place out for the first time and it was outstanding. Obviously great beer and a large selection. The food was very good. Way better than I expected for this type of establishment.

We decided to stop by before heading over to the red wings game, there’s a parking lot nearby and it’s an easy walk to the arena. The bar is seat yourself so keep your eyes peeled for a table. It took awhile for someone to stop by our table but once they did they were fairly attentive. We ended up ordering food from the food service counter - the sandwich was quite good and reasonably priced. They had a good beer selection as well. Overall a pretty impressive downtown Detroit brewery!

I stopped here with my brother and his friend before a Pistons game at the LCA. It's about three blocks from the LCA just off Cass. It is a seat yourself venue and we were lucky to find a table for 3 as I observed others having issues finding a table or chairs. The Founders taps are vast and were very good but some were on the pricey side ($1 an ounce). We did not get any food but it appeared that you order it at the service area, get a buzzer and then go retrieve it when you buzzer goes off. Flat top, booth and bar seating with a main room bar and rear smaller bar. Outside seating with fire pit. WiFi. Side parking lot and street parking that can be limited on weekends and days of event. I'm a Founders fan so I would return.

Awesome beer, awesome atmosphere, and awesome food. A great spin on a Grand Rapids juggernaut of a brewery.

We showed up at 3 on a Friday and got in right away. When we left at 5 they were lined up out the door! Had to wait for a table for about 20 minutes. Unfortunately it is first come first served, or whoever hovers closest to the first person to leave. Reservations would be great for tables, but I get why they don't do that. Impossible to know when someone would leave. Beer is typical Founders awesomeness, food was pretty good too. It's worth a visit for the hard to find Founders beers us out of state folks can't normally get. They had a fun looking patio with heated tubes and fire pit but we stayed inside. Parking is a real problem there, not much available. Love this place and will go back.

My boyfriend and I came in for date night, we haven't been out in a while and we're so excited they're back open!! We often have bad luck with servers, but tonight we were greeted and taken care of by the warmest people! I just want to say a special thank you to Miles, he was wonderful and super personable! Awesome brewery and delicious beer. We will be coming back a lot once the weather gets warmer to sit on the cozy patio!!
