Our Detroit Taproom is our first location outside of our home in Grand Rapids. The Detroit Taproom is inspired by GR, but is Detroit in it's own unique way. Our approach to our Taprooms has always been led by our beer, and features food that is homemade, handcrafted, and of high quality, without being pretentious. We specialize and Sandwiches, Salads and shared plate appetizers.

Cool thing about this place... Yo get an excellent selection of Founder's brews, but also some "Detroit" only brews. Also, probably one of the cheapest per pour of many breweries in MI. Add in some classic and excellent food, and you found your brewery nirvana

Went this past weekend with my wife and some friends. The food was delicious. We had the beer cheese dip to start and it was fantastic. We each had a different sandwich and loved them. Portions we're great for a very reasonable price. The beer was also fantastic of course.

i was only able to stay for a beer because it was about to close but I was very happy with the kindness of the bartender and how well they kept the place clean. I look forward to going back and spending more time.

There is a very small parking lot on site, and it is usually full. Be prepared to park on the street.

I did not see wine or liquor on the menu last night, however there are plenty of bourbon barrel beers, and also a cold brew non alcoholic coffee.

No. We no longer have a company store located in the taproom., We do, however, still carry some merchandise on hand for sale! Stop by the taproom to check out our selection!

Yes I think they have small 4oz glasses great for the little ones.

Parking at Founders is very limited. However there is street parking available.

Better to call the restaurant directly! FYI it's a really cool spot.
