I lived in Texas for 20 years and have extremely high standards for Tex Mex. Y’all. This is it. If you are a fellow Tex-pat you’ve gotta come and try it. We got the trifecta of good Tex-Mex: steak and chicken fajitas, a chimichanga (shredded beef tips), and ground beef tacos. They were all fabulous! Everything tastes weirdly similar to my favorite Tex-Mex place in Waco and I am here for it. The salsas are all amazing and are fun to mix and match. The servers were attentive and helpful without being annoying. There is plenty of seating space inside and lots of good parking. The interior is a little boring, but I would rather have KILLER food and let the decor develop as their following grows. The sign outside isn’t attention grabbing or easy to read, but don’t let that deter you! Run, don’t walk, and get yourself a delicious meal at Fiesta Azul.
