First time I ever had a tamale and it was amazing. Chicken, this time. The tamale lunch special was filling, but quite cheap. The salsa in both mild and spicy tasted unique. Even the rice and beans were great--the BEANS! I've never cared about beans, but one spoon of the rice or of the beans will get you digging in for more. Gotta come here again to try something else.

Great service! Went there around 2 pm. Almost no one was there, so the service was very fast. Ordered two dozen tamales, and they were to our table almost instantly. Down side of going in the afternoon is there was less availability of different kinds of tamales. Only had regular and spicy pork. Still very good! Salsa had a great flavor. The hot was perfect. Not overbearing, and the salsa Verde had a little bit of kick. When going here, highly suggest calling in your order ahead of time. They can make any of their tamales if you call 1 hour ahead.

This is a little family-owned Mexican restaurant. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years. Authentic Mexican food their specialty is tamales. I order a breakfast dish with scrambled eggs tortillas and cheese...it comes with beans and rice and your choice of tortillas. Everybody gets a cookie when they're done. The main road they are on called Bagley is currently under construction. The new road looks like it's going to be possibly a pedestrian-only pathway. It looks fantastic. The businesses are still open while the street is under construction. It should be done sometime early December 2019.

Questions & Answers

Yes and they are all delicious

Most of the year, just walk in. Only major holidays do you need to plan ahead.

It depends on your microwave but spray them lighty till every tamale has been touched. Then about a minute to a minute and a half.Once again it depends on the microwave.

Oh yes. They open at 6 am.

I'm not sure if they will ship for you. Evie's does sell them frozen. Meijer sells dry ice. There are food shipping containers for frozen foods. Add all of this with overnight shipping, and I'm sure you could get them there. For a fee, I could drive them there. ? part of the fee would cover the extra 3 dozen i would buy, just to keep me away from the ones for delivery.

They do not have a website and a google search has their menu items but outdated pricing. I suggest calling to be sure.

I don't think so Sharon??‍♀️
