I took a 6, 8, and 14 year old to dinner after school at el Thrifty yesterday around 4:30 pm. Once I saw the menu, I wasnt sure if it was kid friendly. I was pleasantly surprised. My kids loved the flavorful tacos. They shared a quesadilla, that according to my 8 year old, had the "most juiciest steak" in it. I had the Fried Chicken Salad but substituted with grill chicken and the most amazing blue cheese dressing. Our server was knowledgeable and patient (as first timers). The manager, Adam, was very friendly and sought feedback. I can't wait to go back with my husband or girlfriends. The atmosphere looks great for adult fun and drinks!!!

Great atmosphere. The tacos were excellent. The chicken in the torta had a fatty texture, so it wasn't good. It's on the expensive side for this type of food. You can get better and cheaper elsewhere.
