I got the vegan ramen with an umami egg on it and it had the most amazing texture and flavor. Best ramen I have ever had. Definitely worth the money. It also came out super fast.

I strongly, strongly recommend giving this place another chance if you visited in the early days of Optimist Hall and left a low review. A lot of restaurants there had issues in the early weeks and I think it's important to revisit any brand new spot after the first opening rush once they really find their rhythm. This has become my favorite spot in Optimist Hall; the portions are great, the ingredients always taste fresh and consistent and I love the people that work there. I highly recommend the vegan ramen especially. A note to the wait times: I've never had to wait more than ten minutes, but I also have the good sense to not try and go to Optimist on a weekend. ALL of the restaurants are slammed then, especially on Saturdays, and you'll likely experience 30+ minutes everywhere. That's the nature of a highly popular food hall that's still rolling out all of it's options, and it's not fair to single one place out for that when it's the entire building.

Yes. They have a coffee place and a few restaurants that open around 9. Most places are 11 and later though

Yes. Get down at Parkwood station . It's 5 mins walk from there

They're open now. Some restaurants are still under construction, but they have Zookoo Sushi, The Dumpling Lady (Noodles and Dumplings), Bao and Bowls ( Ramen and Bao Buns, my personal favorite from last night) and Papi Queso, grilled cheese sandwiches. They also have Undercurrent Coffee, VJ Co Juices and Cider, and Honeysuckle Gelato open.
