They do get very busy there and I thought they didn't take reservations. We had to wait for a table so went shopping next door and sat outside and talked with other couple. My food experience was not as expected from an authentic Italian restaurant. Veal saltimbocca does not come in a brown sauce with spinach. She crab soup had no taste, too much sherry mixed in after owner recomnended it to me. Sorry you had to go some place else for dinner. I will say lunch there a month prior I split an antipasto salad and shrimp parm with a girl friend there and that was excellent.
