First time we visited Deanie's and the food was good. When we received our bill, gratuity was already included for 2 people. Instead of correcting it before giving us the bill, our waiter claims the manager "accidentally" included the gratuity. Really? Don't believe it. Never have any wait staff include gratuity for a party of TWO!

At this restaurant, the food is excellent and the price is reasonable for the amount of food you receive. It's located in the French Quarters so there is a significant waiting to be seated. It's especially busy during the Mardi Gras season but it's worth the wait. They have a bar for socializing with friends and meeting new people.

Great place for oysters raw and roasted. Some of the best oysters we’ve ever eaten. Service could’ve been a little more friendly
