Excellent place for a modern spin on ochazuke. Very cosy, not that many seats. Had the mentaiko set both times I was there. First time was when a good friend who lives in Tokyo took my wife and I there. Second time I brought two colleagues of mine who gave this place the two thumbs up. They themselves went back again at least twice after our visit.

I ate the winter ver. Of "Dense Tantanzuke", which has been featured in the King's brunch. It is a set with two small bowls, called an "Obanzai set".Rice and ingredients are put into an iron pot like a stone-roasted bibimbap, and put in an empty bowl together with tea to eat.Because it is heated just before eating, it is good to be able to taste the crispy texture without the messiness that is common in ochazuke. The tea to be hung does not have the color of tea like Sencha, but rather white juice.We had a lot of creative cuisine and had a strong lunch! We had a real feeling, but on the whole harmony, it was not so good.The shop is very small and has only counter seats. It is about moving while rubbing the back of the eating person. We recommend that you keep your luggage small.
