I was looking forward to this spot because I love whiskey. I was underwhelmed. The vibe was awesome, the space was comfortable and the noise level was perfect, not to loud. The bartender did not come off as highly knowledgeable with the whiskeys. To me, a bartender in a whiskey bar should be able to provide suggestions and descriptions of different whiskeys. Not all of them, because that would be excessive, but enough to help someone. The food was also a bit underwhelming. The catfish was outright gross. It tasted like a dirty lake. The onion rings were really good though and so was the mac and cheese. I would be willing to give this place another go if someone I was with wanted to because the whiskey selection is great, but there are other options in the city I haven't tried yet that, and if I am picking, I would choose those first.

Everything was delicious. They have a proper Southern sweet tea. The fried catfish sandwich was perfectly crispy. The collards were cooked just right with the right amount of tart. The yukon gold mashed potatoes were fluffy and creamy. The green beans were sautéed with garlic and kept a nice crunch. Definitely will be back!
