Excellent service (thanks to Fleur) and fabulous food, with relaxed ambience and friendly time constraints. Attentive to birthday girl and special requests. My only complaint was that summer pudding, just not up to scratch (grainy, oversweet). Needs a rethink. Otherwise a great group experience.

our booking was for 8.15 pm on a (wet) Friday evening. The restaurant was very full, with consequent high noise level (this being typical of modern restaurants). There was no delay in taking us to a table or in the service of food and alcohol. The menu was varied, and my partner and I selected from the entrees. When it came to the main course we both chose from what appeared to be smaller/lighter dishes. Chiswick gets a BIG plus for offering some medium sized main courses as well as full size ones. Partner chose the tuna, I chose the prawns, with green leaf side and a bowl of chips. All excellent. The dessert list also was suitable to anyone who watches sugar intake - many restaurants ignore this and overload dessert with sweetness. Our table was in the middle of the room, and as diners thinned out, our waitress VERY thoughtfully offered to move us to a quieter corner. This was greatly appreciated, and the tip reflected our thanks. Possibly more of an 'occasion' restaurant than a casual meal one, Chiswick nevertheless is highly recommended for any time.

Me and my partner went to Chiswick for the 1st time over the weekend, and felt that the place and the was were good but it was too pricey. The restaurant and the gardens are beautiful, the staff were friendly and really appreciated the fact that they use their own veggies from their garden. The food was also good (we had the barramasalata and kingfish crudo as starters and the duck and cod as mains) but I just thought it was overpriced. I have been to many restaurants in Sydney and feel like I have eaten similar quality dishes at a lower price elsewhere.

We decided last minute to go for a Monday evening dinner in the restaurant and was greeted warmly by Michael at the front desk, he opened with a joke at the table which was a nice touch! Everything was spectacular from the seasonal spritz on arrival to the beautiful interior. Moving on to the food, I can't explain how delicious everything was! We had oysters, butterfly King prawns and delicious chicken sliders to start with barra-masalata to share which was just absolutely perfect and a great segway for the main event! For mains we had the gniocchi, chichen and pork cutlets, to say the meal was unparalelled to anything I've had in Sydney so far is an understatement!! The cracking on the pork was unexpected and a delicious crunch to add to the perfectly cooked meat. The brussel sprouts were a perfect side to share between 3 and were absolutely to die for. The skillet of sticky toffee pudding to share for dessert was the perfect end to a perfect meal! 1,000,000/10 is the score I give Chizwick- everything from the food, atmosphere, cocktails and service is second to none- would highly recommend here for any occasion and will definitely be back!

We went there for lunch and it was hard to find parking. The surrounding streets are all fully parked during the day. It might be better of to catch an Uber or taxi to there. Services was great, our waitress was attentive and her recommendations are spot on. Food tastes great here, the only problem for us is, by just reading the menu, it isn’t too clear what we are going to get. Would be excellent if the restaurant can put up some photos in their Instagram showing customers what each dish looks like. Overall experience was great. Highly recommended.

The set menu was fairly priced and provided a great selection and quantity of delicious food (the taramasalata and lamb were stand outs). The bread was quite burnt so would have benefited from a quality check before being served.

Great space and staff. Deep alcohol selection and wide menu range. Although I wasn't greatly impressed with some of the execution of plates. Foccacia and tartare very good and the desserts are solid (try almond and fig tart).

I went there on Saturday with family for a birthday dinner. We had a wonderful experience that night. The venue was elegant and the service was great. They really pay attention to details. They top up our vegetable chips that we didn’t expecting it. Our cake was presented in a very nice way that made the moment so beautiful. Thank you and we will go again.

Fabulous spot for lunch lovely gardens and stunning fountain outside - service was outstanding so warm and welcoming. Simple menu - steak was delicious! Reasonable prices - great value. Thanks a lot.

I had my wedding at Chiswick over the weekend, with drinks and canapés in the gardens after the ceremony and followed by dinner. The food and service was exceptional! The staff keep everything running smoothly by keeping us updated throughout the night but never rushed. The food was unbelievably delicious and plentiful… I am sure that we will have our guests talking about it for years to come. It was the most beautiful and magical intimate ceremony of our dreams, thanks to Chiswick and our other vendors. I’m still on Cloud 9. Our sincerest thank you.

Decent home style Australian food. I enjoyed the eggplant and artichoke dishes. Nice setting. I think the price is a bit high for what you get.

Great chilling green environment like Bali! Food was surprisingly just soso and abit too noisy after busy , service was friendly welcome perfect for family or friends hangout

Lovely venue and good food. Only downside was the constant reminder that we had to leave after 2 hours and that we might not get dessert. Felt like naughty school children. Not good enough for such an exclusive restaurant. We still had 20 minutes to go and they would not serve coffee. Bit disappointing considering it was my 70th birthday lunch with family.

I love this beautiful restaurant set up in a beautiful garden since I visited there for luncheon one Sunday. Superb attentive service with deliciously cooked seasonal items. Just excellent ❤️
