Chartreuse Kitchen & Cocktails

Chartreuse was amazing both times I visited for lunch and dinner. I highly recommend the Waldorf salad, that has just enough fruit - apple and raspberry to balance the savory dressing, my favorite!! The matcha olive oil cake is also very good.

This restaurant is superb and spacious, the food was enchanting and the rates were very inexpensive. quickly, effective service and very affable waiters. Recommended.

We've been thinking about coming here for a while and we are so glad we finally did! The food was excellent, we loved the burrata salad and bison skewers. We also really enjoyed trying their drinks as we were not familiar with chartreuse liqueur at all. For us, it was a wonderful experience!

Eh, drinks were decent, but not so much my taste. Same with the food. Not your typical menu. Go online and make sure the menu contains food you are interested in. I would say the food is original, which might be a good thing depending on how adventurous you are, which I am not when it come to meat. Veggies maybe. Anyway you might like it. Investigate the menu first.

This place always has delicious food. It is always fresh and made with love. This time it was extra special because my husband and I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary there and the staff made it special. The menus had our names printed on them and they hand made us an anniversary card. The service is always exceptional.

Dinner was amazing, my soon to be brother-in-law treated us to dinner before a show at the Fisher Theatre to celebrate our engagement. Everything was wonderful. Thank you for an amazing meal

My wife and I went here on a Saturday night and had a great time. The staff was pleasant and friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks and food. The food was amazing and the desert was fabulous and the drinks went down smooth.

So so good. Everything. Food, lunch and dinner. Drinks, cocktails and soft. It's the kind of restaurant where you can try everything, even stuff you normally don't like, because it will be so perfectly cooked and prepped that you will love it anyway. Never been disappointed at Chartreuse. The chef is the man. Such a nice space too, and last but not least, the best staff, so kind and cheerful. I miss everything about that place, and today particularly the deep fried egg, the fish sandwich and the dessert(s) ^^ Can't wait to be back.

Such a wonderful gem. The food is delicious, fresh, colorful and well plated. The portions are not overly heavy and the vibe is fun and colorful. I love the seasonal menu and growing wall. The service is always great as well. I have never left unhappy.

What a lovely experience. The Chartreuse cocktails were yummy and unique (Last Word). The food was amazing - the twice-cooked egg the other reviews rave about did not disappoint. We also had the lamb ragout, which was outstanding. Our server, Cayla was delightful and made it a special evening. I will absolutely return.

As an international foodie I finally found a place in Michigan I absolutely love love love. The energy of the people working here is just energizing. We are sitting at the bar eating delicious food prepared with a passion. Absolutely a must to visit if you love honest perfect tasteful food!!!!

We came for Valentine's day and picked the progressive tasting option which is basically a 6+ course dinner. The food was just perfect, all fresh local ingredients, well cooked and seasoned, gracefully plated and with the right portions. The vibe of the place is welcoming and comforting, my beautiful wife was very happy I picked Chartreuse for our date, she was very pleased with the service since it was as impressive as the food here. A must in Detroit, definetely on my top 3. Congratulations to Chartreuse Kitchen and cocktails, you guys raised the bar to everyone else in the culinary business here in Detroit

So yes I know. I have a difficult taste. Travelled the world. Lived many places. But as a foodie, finally I found that place that I know I will come back to. Multiple times. I am at the bar. Looking at the kitchen seeing these youngster create food art with passion. Absolutely love the vibe, the food, the atmosphere and the people. Delicious. Absolutely the best dinner in Michigan for like years!!! Way to go!! My new favorite place.
