First, I have to say we got a great table and two glasses of Prosecco because we booked through Capital One! Besides that, I can’t remember the last time my wife and I had such a great meal in NY and I am born and raised her and work in hospitality. The service was A+ and so was the food. Everything from the Hamachi Crudo and the soft shell crab to the fava bean, crudo salads to crispy chicken. The sommelier, Eric, was equally amazing and recommended a amazingly bottle of Occhipinti.

Delightful find! I highly recommend the faro salad. We also had the lamb bolognaise with tagliatelle, the rigatoni with octopus ragu (a special for the day), and the chocolate cake for dessert! All delicious. Attentive service and nice ambiance completed the experience!

The meal was superb! Great atmosphere. The staff does not miss a beat. Some of my favorites today were the Sicilian cauliflower and the brussel sprouts. Of course the raw bar was fantastic too from the razor clams to the scallops and hamachi. For me the stars of the show were the trout belly, the pasta with truffles and the absolutely succulent pork shoulder.

Went for brunch on a Sunday and it was not too busy - service was lovely and food was excellent. Music is great too. Nice vibes. We ordered the Gem Lettuce Salad, Octopus, Carrots, Chicken Liver, Crab Spaghetti and Crispy Bass - all delightful. Also really enjoyed the Vodka Basil cocktail!!

It is a delicious upscale Italian restaurant. The service is very kind and will make things to your whim even if it is not on the menu. I consider myself to be a foodie and this place satisfied my cravings. Though I was a tourist, I felt like a New Yorker because the place had such a local feel and there were nothing any noisy families. However, this is an upscale place and a dinner for four with wine will cost you around 300 dollars plus tip. Not a place to eat frugally!! The price is respectable though as the food is very fancy and had perfect portion sizes. I recommend the whole branzino with the burrata appetizer. For dessert I recommend anything as all they have is delicious. My one complaint is that the music is slightly overpowering and can make it hard to hear.

Charlie Bird did not disappoint whatsoever!! We started out sharing some small plates, then we each ordered an appetizer and an entree.. I got the little gems salad with a buttermilk dressing.. simple, yummy, and tasty!! For an entree I moved to the ribeye off the bone.. only complaint: the serving size was more for 2 people, I couldn't finish the dish

I didn’t even know there was a “King Street”, but glad I found it, as well as Charlie Bird’s restaurant. An enjoyable night (was in a private dining room, but the main restaurant was equally relaxed and enjoyable). Excellent service, interesting menu options and worth the walk and find!

Amazing place to have a date night. The food, atmosphere, and staff are amazing. They have great selection of wine and drinks.

I highly recommend any pasta on the menu, the small plate of octopus is the best!!! And the cocktails are amazing! Great service and ambience!!!

My husband brought me to Charlie Bird for my Birthday & although I was scared of what the menu had to offer I am actually looking forward to going again. The atmosphere is amazing as well as the choice of music. The servers and hosts are great as well

Was deliberately misled by the hostess. WOULD AVOID THIS PLACE. we showed up at 4pm and asked if we can get a lunch. The hostess told us, they would start serving at 4.30pm and we can grab a drink in the meanwhile which we agreed to. At 4.30pm we got a menu.... only with fries and olives in it. And apparently full menu was not available till 5.30pn, which they failed to mention. When we told about our frustration to the hostess who lied to us, she was just laughing at us. This was a deliberate lie to let us in and waste our time and money. This is not a happy place, they will lie to you at a first opportunity, avoid.

The food was amazingly good. Nice crowd when we dine.
