Carvel Ice Cream Store

Unfortunately I needed to change my review after today. He was extremely rude to my son... unacceptable. My son asked him politely if he could add whipped cream to his milkshake. The owner, in a very rude manner, declined adding the whipped cream. He said that there was no space, instead of admitting that he ran out of cup covers. Then he proceeded to tell my son, and I quote... "If you want whipped cream, you should go to McDonald's ". That's sad, and disrespectful... no need to be mean to a customer, specially a kid. Specially in these times, with so many businesses losing customers due to the pandemic, this rude and disrespectful person acts like that. Shame shame...

Please tell me the owner has some type of social challenge, otherwise he should not be the face of Carvel. Rudiest person I’ve interacted with in a long time. How is he still in business.

I went there on a Wednesday to get the two for one deal and since they rang it up as two sundaes they wouldn't undo it for me. Made me pay for both of them full price. Was not helpful or nice about it. I should have just left but my grandfather wanted his ice cream

Great place on Rt.7 in New Milford, CT.

If i could give 0 stars i would. My fiance and i went here and purchased 2 soft served icecreams. Not only did the owner act like we were wasting his time even though we knew exactly what we wanted, took my fiances order just fine and when it came to mine it was almost as if he disregarded that i was there completely. We go to pay and not having ever been to this Carvel, we were unaware of their outrageous $15 minimum on a credit card, our order has come to $12.. The owner made a huge scene and tapped on the paper which stated $15 minimum which we hadn't seen. I appologized and he still did the transactuin but made it known to the entire store that "next time i better bring him cash to pay for my ice cream instead". Sorry, there wont be a next time, i will never support a business whose owner is as rude and condescending as Albert is. Avoid this Carvel as if your life depends on it!

Wish I could begin to explain how horrible this place is. Not worth your money. The old man there is quite possibly the rudest, nastiest person I have ever met. Take your business elswhere.

I just came from here. I had a very good experience. The young man who helped me was very nice.

Advertising states buy one get one free sundae any size on Wednesday. Went to order large sundaes and were told only small and medium ones for buy one get one free!! We always went to the Waterbury location on Waterrown Ave and got large size . Also they hardly put any ice cream in the cup and were stingy on the sauces. Won't go back to this location again will drive to the Waterbury or even the Watertown location.

Best place ever! The owner and his son, Albert, make it such a friendly atmosphere.

Worst Carvel I've ever been to. The owner was exceptionally rude to us AND the people ahead of us. My order wasn't even made correctly. Overall bad experience. Probably will never go back to this location.

Not as much candy as other Carvels.
