Exceptional and fresh food, I loved the vibes this spot has, and the employees were very kind. Will definitely visit here next time.

We had an amazing dinner here last night. After we went to the Soul festival in Fort Greene Park, we have decided that we wanted to have a more intimate dinner. The service was impeccable and personalized. The only hiccup was I initially ordered the duck confit dish, and the chef came out minutes after telling our server that he is out of it. It could have been really yummy but nonetheless, I just had the escargot for my entree which was great.

I will never go back to Cafe Paulette. Yesterday evening I sat at the bar with my companion, an African American woman, who is a regular customer. As we laughed and talked, we were dismissively and rudely told to be quiet by a server. We canceled our food order and left immediately. I returned to explain to the server that his behavior was racist—anyone trained in hospitality knows there is a respectful way to ask guests to lower their voices—and he laughed at me, responded with sarcasm, and defended his treatment of my friend. The server’s behavior expressed that she is less welcome in the space than the white customers who purportedly complained about our happy noise. My friend was made to feel unwelcome in a business she has helped support for over a decade. I will never spend my money there, and neither should you.

Lovely small dinner spot. Enjoyed the duck confit (crispy, tasty), the mussels. The waiter brought extra bread for dipping. Sampled a couple of unusual wines (one: orange!) before ordering glasses. Nestled in a corner, so romantic. Wonderful evening. This will be my new go-to spot when attending a BAM event.

Amazing place. Price vs quality and presentation is so fair. The food was great, we had an avocado toast and a croque monsieur that were well presented and the taste was awesome. Waitress was so friendly. Everyone should try this place for a brunch.

Delectable place in Fort Greene. I've seen then expand, taking over the dohave of Carol's Daughter. They have tasty selections at reasonable prices and solid service. Definitely check out their brunch hours. Even better is this café right across from Fort Greene Park. If ever in Bk, check this place out.

Lovely, cosy and delicious. But pricey, but great charm.

Good wine selection and we have enjoyed every meal. However, we have been several times and the service hasn’t been the best. The servers tend to be MIA.

We came at 10:30 on Saturday. Almost nothing was available on the menu a part from avocado toast. No juice as they were short staffed. Just cafe and ice tea. They brought us the avocado toast with old crispy untasted bread (was terrible as they probably made it 3 day prior) I have ordered an apricot danish that never came. Very disappointing!

Good food, came very quickly. Complaint is regarding the wait. We got there and were told a 20 minute wait. 40 minutes later we were seated. My real issue is that there was a booth open for the entire duration of our wait and meal. Literally, open for an hour and 40 minutes. Friendly staff throughout the whole experience, but no reason for the lengthy wait.

Café Paulette transports you to an upscale brasserie you could find à Paris. But the twist is that the food at Café Paulette is much better and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. A true gem in Fort Greene that I recommend to all my friends.

If you want to be in Paris for just one night, you should come here. The duck confit and salad Nicoise are the best.
