We had a great time. I made reservations for 12 people. 16 showed up. They quickly set up the extra seating and made it work. Food was wonderful! Thank you so much for providing a great experience for my guests!!

Went here for a wedding party. When you cannot cut the pork chop with a knife and was too tough to chew? Not worth the money I spent. The waitress only came to take our order and give us our check. She also had an attitude. The only good service is the guy who refilled our drinks. I wish they didn't have to tip share, I would have left him the tip.

The best food I had in my four days in New Orleans. The truffle blue crab claws and pork chop are a must try. Food was prepared immaculately and service was warm and friendly! Paired with live music, it was the perfect welcome to NOLA. Highly recommend.

This is a hidden gem! Beautiful inner courtyard dining space steps off of Bourbon. Our bartender Rachel was an absolute sweetheart, full of NOLA insights. Plus, she loves James Booker.

The food is AMAZING! They are very generous with the bottomless mimosas as well. Would definitely recommend the steak and eggs, the gumbo, and the Mr. Big Blue drink

I was torn by this place. We went for a friends birthday and as nice as it was, it didn't show in the food quality. The jazz band played for maybe 10 minutes. The bottomless mimosa did not flow. A table of 7 spent $400 on breakfast.

Just attended a wedding and this location was beautiful! Staff was friendly and fun! It was a combination of both the history of the location with modern accommodations. The food was amazing and the drinks were great as well!

As the last location my friend and I went to before departing from New Orleans, we wanted to try the world-famous Ramos Gin Fizz, a drink created and popularized in NOLA. After some hesitation and skepticism we ordered the drink and were met with surprise to discover just how delicious this drink was. It tasted zesty and creamy with a hint of a citrus flavor to it. The service was impeccable, the bartender was so friendly and kind, and the Ramos Gin Fizz was on point!

My husband took my here for my birthday We didn't have a reservation, but the house manager was very accommodating and we sat in the bar area. Beautiful atmosphere. Very classy and vintage vibe. Food was amazing. I had the duck breast and I wasn't disappointed.

I'm sad to say that the highly anticipated dinner at this restaurant was a disappointment. We were seated and it took quite a while for our service to start. Our server took our order, however, it took a long time to get our food. Our server was so fixated on setting a table for a large party that he ignored us almost the whole time we were there. The only saving grace was that the food was very good. Frankly this should have been 5 star service for a great meal.

This is for Rita at the Empire Room - thank you! Rita was tending bar both times we stopped by for a restorative during our week in New Orleans. She was sweet, funny, warm, and a great maker of drinks. We showed up on our first day of vacation and returned on our last day. Super comforting vibe and lovely atmosphere.

If you are even considering this restaurant DONT let me save you the time and money. I cannot stress this enough. The service is terrible and that includes waiters and management. The waiters are rude and they don't know what they are doing. The food is awful, it either has no taste or overcooked and it is definitely over priced. We had a large party so our group pretty much ordered the entire menu and not one dish was even considered good. I am telling you DO NOT go here. If I could give it 0 stars I would. This place was awful and gives Louisiana cooking a bad name.

We had our staff Christmas party here on Friday Dec 13. It was my first time eating at this restaurant. The staff and management is top notch. They were very attentive even though there were a number of staff parties going on. The food; excellent. This was a great experience and the courtyard is a beautiful place to hang out. The live jazz band was a great touch. Keep up the good work guys, I will be back!

My mom treated me and my fiancé here for my birthday and it was so good. The drinks were great. Can’t remember what I ordered but I remember the food being really good. It was nice being able to dress up and enjoying excellent food and service.

5 minute walk

Sadly, a few parties were casually dressed, but for the most part everyone was dressed as one would for a 'fine dining experience'. Ladies wore pretty floral dresses, most guys were in slacks and nice shirts with sport coats. Our visit was for brunch.

Yes. Although I was steered towards the bar rather than the main dining room, that's probably more to do with the fact that I was dining alone then with the fact that I was wearing Jean shorts. I asked since somebody had mentioned dress code and the head waiter looked a little confused and said no there's no dress code the only clothing that you could be thrown out of here that I could think of would be if you were a man and you came in in a tank top."

Went in a nice polo, shorts, and nice flip flop sandles. Not out of place at all.

Smart attire. Casey is correct about denial of service. Galatoire's is the only place I know that requires jackets for men.

No tie needed but absolutely more upscale attire.
