This bakery is one of the big things I miss since we moved away from Ottawa. The bread is fantastic, the staff is charming. They were among the first to embrace a higher wage for their staff when minimum wage was increase. I love the art on their walls and the low key vibe.

I love this place: excellent bread, pastries, cookies and COFFEE. The secret is that they make amazing coffee here and better pastries than most coffeeshops nearby. Staff are always super friendly as well. A real neighbourhood gem.

This bakery makes very good breads, but different each day. Today they had multigrain sourdough bread and leftover yesterday's rye sourdough, both very tasty. They also make what they label as milk bread, that is not as rich as a brioche. Of the sweets that i tried, their blueberry danish are wonderful and so are the scones and almond as well as plain croissants. They also have other savory baked and very good coffee.
