Blue Ribbon Brasserie

About

Located on Sullivan Street at the convergence of the West Village and SoHo, Blue Ribbon's bustling dining room and friendly bar have been serving neighborhood regulars and culinary industry insiders since 1992. The Bromberg Brothers' eclectic vision first sprang to life here and has blossomed into an iconic destination known for its late-night dining scene where the country's top chefs congregate and eat after closing their own kitchens. Subdued lighting, red velvet banquettes and mustard hued walls, pristine oysters and countless culinary tales are all well-known trademarks of this, the flagship and original Blue Ribbon.

The food is fantastic and the service is excellent. I had the Cape Cod oysters, Bbq Ribs, Pu pu platter, Skate, and the Bruno dessert!! So good. I was with my family we were very happy with the ambience.

A classic staple of soho. The food delivered. Especially the duck, it was incredible. The fried chicken and steak were great, as were their oysters of the day.

Questions & Answers

According to Caviar's web site the Blue Ribbon Brasserie is one of their listed restaurants - available now. So, depending where you live (distance) the answer is yes.

There are no restrictions on kids but it is a small and very busy venue, can be on the louder side. If you're able to scope it out without kids by meeting with friends there or a date night prior, you'll get a better feel for how you would want to proceed.
