Rotating fresh variety of sashimi and sushi fish, relatively rare in Montreal. Makes use of uni and bone marrow in a variety of dishes, delicious and generous cooking and staff. One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Montreal.

Otto Bistro is run by the same team as Otto Yakitori in downtown Montréal. This bistro offers sashimi plates as well as Japanese dishes that are less traditional. I had the uni and bone marrow pasta: simply decadent! They offer alcohol imported from Japan. I feel that it is a bit overpriced but it was still good nonetheless.

Excellent meal and easily some of the best food I've had. The duck is definitely the best I've ever had even though it was a little on the heavy side. Service was fast and good. Overall I think the food is a little on the expensive side, especially the ramen dishes. Can't wait to go back when they add new items to their menu.

Great food and vibe. I highly recommend the roasted eggplant and octopus carpaccio :) The portions are generous and well priced!

The place is pretty small and may be more safe to make a reservation before going. The staff group is also small so expect to be patient in the restaurant. This is an excellent place that really focus on their quality and flavour. The quality of their uni is the best I’ve tried so far in Montreal. The flavour is so rich and sweet.

Excellent!Great food and awesome service! Exactly what you expect from Otto, Japanese soul food style. The sushi platter was fresh. The clam with bacon and sake broth was our favourite (special menu). The broth is creamy and savory. We drank the broth entirely.Highly recommended!

Small place with a simple gourmet menu. I was expecting to have a basic ramen around 12$ like all other place but the only choice they had was twice the price and came with a confit de canard (which looked really good to be fair). Place is neat. Clean. Service friendly and food was good. A veriety of choices in japanese whiskey if interested. Perfect for a casual date ;)
