Bistro L'entrepont

Amazing, what a great place! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish, possibly the best meal I've ever eaten! The menu is written up on a chalkboard in French so our waiter (who was also the owner) translated and explained each dish for us. You can really tell how passionate he is about his restaurant - checking how we liked each course, asking what we thought of the food, and making sure we enjoyed everything. We couldn't decide on dessert so were really excited when we were offered a dessert sample plate with a small version of each of the 4 desserts on the menu - this was literally the icing on the cake for our experience and a much appreciated gesture! We are on holidays from Australia but will definitely be back next time we find ourselves in Montreal!

We were in Montreal for just 1 day and looking for to have a nice dinner. Bistro L’Entrepont was exceptional! The place is small and the one waiter is super friendly, speaks perfect English, and very attentive to every table. My husband had the tasting menu and I ordered a la carte. All plates were really well prepared and delicious. The place is BYOB so the final bill (food only) was also very reasonable. Highly recommend!
