Went to the bar twice. Was extremely pleased with the selection of amaro! Felt the service was good despite the pure chaos that was the area on a Saturday. Deeply enjoyed it on a Thursday afternoon. It was beautiful and peaceful. Would not recommend past 5pm or on a weekend as you will be elbowing your way through to find a spot to stand and drink your cider.

Our foodie-NYC-living daughter reserved us a table during “Restaurant Week.” Great choice. Great food and atmosphere! Our waiter was not so great, but the rest of the staff made up for him. The special menu offered a great selection at an affordable price. My wife, daughter and I each ordered different appetizers and main courses so we could sample it all. We also ordered the wine tasting special menu option, which seemed to annoy the waiter. All appetizers were perfect. Rice balls, kale salad, and the delicious ribollita soup, were all great! The main dishes; Chicken breast, salmon and risotto were wonderful! Served hot and cooked perfectly. My only complaint was our original waiter seemed disappointed in our choice and tried to up sell us. All other employees were great so maybe he was just short on his rent money. :-). Highly recommend the place. Bright and cheerful, with all “Restaurant Week,” options for food and wine delicious!!!

Loved the atmosphere and decor, but the food was a lacking for the hype. Fondue was chunky and cold within minutes. We thought fondue would be served with at least a candle underneath, or fondue setup, but it was just a side of cheese in a small bowl. Chicken was also pretty dry, with no sauce served. Risotto and drinks were delish though, and it was nice to have table side shaved truffles on menu, though we passed on the option.

I loved everything, the food, drinks, ambience and service. One of my favorite places to visit in NYC.

Great service, and we went during restaurant week so we got to taste the delicious winter courses. Beautiful scenery and great vibes for a dinner with friends!

Nice atmosphere at the rooftop, good place to have a drink but that’s about it. Food took over an hour to come, the celeriac was already cold when it arrived and the risotto was definitely undercooked. The appetizer was also pretty average in taste. It is worth mentioning that the heaters in the area are insufficient for winter unless you are seated right underneath one, I saw many people sitting with coats. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend for lunch/dining but to have a drink and some snacks, not a bad option.

We had a bad experience. The music is very loud 90s rap--rather unappetizing. The service was indifferent and slow. The waiters and bus staff bumped into my chair at least five times during the meal. The waitress got our wine order wrong and then accused us of being wrong. Perhaps if the music were turned down, she would have heard the correct order. One of our plates never came. As for the food, it was okay but the whole experience was ruined by that point. Disappointed, to say the least, since we love Eataly.

Amazing place to eat and hang out with family and friends! The food was extraordinary. I had Oxtail and it was amazing, I recommend to share this plate with another because is big. It is expensive but WORTH IT. They use all vegetables that are in season, so their menu changes every season. The tiramisu was made the same as all the ones I’ve tried in Italy, same flavor!!!! Also great place to take pictures, the decor is amazing based on the season. You must go to this place!

I was so excited and looking forward to go to this place that I decided to spend my birthday night with my boyfriend there, and I ended up having a terrible experience and upset! The place looks nice, but the food and drinks were bad and overpriced!!! And on the top we were cold! Basically they just ruined my birthday because I could have get a better experience for a bill of almost $200 of bad food and drinks! NOT going back never! What I waste of money I wish would have never went there in such a special day.

Great food, I had one of the risottos, my cousin had the steak with potatos, pesto + onions. It was delicious, don't get me wrong, but very pricey. Perhaps the true highlight here is the restaurant + bar itself, as I'm sure you won't leave without snapping a quick photo of the whole area! We had the food by the bar, so we didn't have to sit for the 45-minute wait on a Monday for a 2-person table, which turned out to be the best decision for us.

Been here a couple times (different decor and menu per season) and this was my least favorite time. Service was meh - didn’t have silverware, then didn’t get spoon with soup, no salt/pepper. The soup was absolutely delicious, the fondue was pretty disappointing. Don’t get the bone marrow butter - you get a quarter size plop of it with a chunk of rustic beard the size of your head. Drinks are usually good here, we had the spiced cider with rum.

Beautiful decor and great food. Obviously super popular in summer, so I only go for dinner, the bar is not ideal for a cocktail after work etc.

Nice cute experience at this place. We had to wait 1.5 hours on a dec Sunday late afternoon, not sure if it’s worth the wait but the place was very nicely decorated and very festive. The food was good and the wine was great. The service was a bit lacking probably because they were so busy and packed. Probably wouldn’t be the top choice to visit again.

Great spot, excellent service & interesting food choices. Nice bar also. Staff very pleasant & friendly with good suggestions. Had the cheese plate appetizer, which as excellent with apple pieces, jam & bread. Main of swordfish with red cabbage-great! Others had squash dishes also excellent. A bit of a wait (1 hour) but no problem as we had the above mentioned cheese plate & a bottle of wine.

Today I had one of the worst experiences with restaurants in the past 5 years. I had a table booked for 8:30pm for 3 people. We arrived at 8:20pm and at 9pm we were still not seated. This is really strange as what is the point to book a table then. It's not the first day this restaurant is in business, the management should clearly account for such situations and handle them correctly. Please, management folks, if you are reading this, do something about it, I understand your operations might not be optimal but please invest some time to make it right for future customers.
