Applejack Diner

Applejacks is a popular place in this neighbourhood. The food was fine. The breakfast potatoes were not to my liking but the eggs were good .

Finish With The Pie! Stumbled on this place while in NYC yesterday. Knew it would be more than a diner from home. Burger price was $14. Pretty reasonable considering the size and sides. Cheese omlet was close to the same price. My wife said it was delicious. So when you walk in this place, the pie display just stares you down! In it, a lemon meringue pie with a minimum of 3 inches of meringue met my eyes. After our main courses, we finished with the pie. Now, it's $8 per slice, but well worth it.

We went today at 10 am (mom with 2 teenagers). We were seated immediately. Couldn't decide what to eat, they let us take our time. We had a big stack of pancakes (3 large ones), avocado toast with eggs and potatoes and toast, 2 eggs, potatoes and bacon. Everything was nice, pancakes very fluffy and eggs cooked perfectly. We never had to wait for a refill of coffee. The service was excellent, very friendly staff. It's nice they already include the service on the bill (didn't have to bother to do the math). Left a couple of dollars on the table extra👍

This place is awesome! They have the best "homemade" style food. The food is so fresh and the postions are so big you basically get the most out of what you pay for. The staff and the owner are super friendly and nice that you definitely feel at home. Give it a try and you will always go back 😊

First time here. Had breakfast but was intrigued by the lunch specials on their board. Server was extremely friendly and very professional. When I stated I did not want potatoes with my meal she offered sliced tomatoes as a substitute. That was a great surprise! I will be coming back soon to try their lunch specials. It also looks like a lot of locals come here as well...always a good sign!

Really enjoyed breakfast there this morning. Attentive but not intrusive staff and the coffee was pretty good too. Priced competitively compared with other places within a couple of blocks.

Everything tasty and fast service. Nice waiter. Ice water welcomed.

This is a Great place for Breakfast on Broadway! Outdoor seating, great service, extensive menu & Breakfast-all-day. We had 2-eggs with Corned Beef Hash, “high & dry” meaning with no toast or potatoes. Fast service!With coffee the tab came to $32 with a 20% tip. Highly recommended.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Customer service was awesome for starters. Second off, the food was delivered really quickly which was really nice. Also, the food was so amazing. It was hot, fresh and the portions were not too much nor too little for the price. Anytime I come back to the city I will NOT go anywhere else to get breakfast.

We were in NYC from California starting 3/6 to 3/14 & like our visit last year we ate at Applejacks several times. We love the food & love you guys especially Marie & Jimmy. Coming from England this is just how I imagined a NY diner to be. Good food, fast service, reasonably priced but still has the feel of a family run business. Like the fact that a simple eye contact is all that is needed for a coffee refill.

We were in a hurry as we had to catch a flight-very accommodating and tasty food! We will definitely stop by again when we’re in the city! Very friendly staff!
