Applejack Diner

Applejacks is a popular place in this neighbourhood. The food was fine. The breakfast potatoes were not to my liking but the eggs were good .

Finish With The Pie! Stumbled on this place while in NYC yesterday. Knew it would be more than a diner from home. Burger price was $14. Pretty reasonable considering the size and sides. Cheese omlet was close to the same price. My wife said it was delicious. So when you walk in this place, the pie display just stares you down! In it, a lemon meringue pie with a minimum of 3 inches of meringue met my eyes. After our main courses, we finished with the pie. Now, it's $8 per slice, but well worth it.

We went today at 10 am (mom with 2 teenagers). We were seated immediately. Couldn't decide what to eat, they let us take our time. We had a big stack of pancakes (3 large ones), avocado toast with eggs and potatoes and toast, 2 eggs, potatoes and bacon. Everything was nice, pancakes very fluffy and eggs cooked perfectly. We never had to wait for a refill of coffee. The service was excellent, very friendly staff. It's nice they already include the service on the bill (didn't have to bother to do the math). Left a couple of dollars on the table extra👍
