the service was good and the waitress was nice and the food and drinks came out quick. The food was good and a good amount was given. However...the dj was not as expected. He did not play up to date music which killed the entire vibe. He either played old school music or Caribbean then entire time (2-3hours). With two heads bobbing he did not care to switch it up.

Angels of Harlem is a cool place. Very in crowd. Also extremely crowded for brunch. It seemed more like a club than a restaurant. It can be bit chaotic, even with a reservation. The food is pretty good and the servers are on point. The rum punch made it all better. If you're in the mood for a party on a Sunday with some good grub go to Angels of Harlem!

We stopped in for birthday dinner on a Saturday evening, the music was great, the crowd was lively and the energy was awesome. However, there was a long wait for a table. We were told it would be a 20 min wait, which became about a 45 min wait. Once we were seated, our waitress came and took our orders, the food however was great! I had a Kale salad, a others in our party had the cheeseburgers, buffalo wings, and the pecan crusted salmon, along with a order of spring rolls for the table. Sadly, I wasn't able to get pictures because my phone battery died. The waitress was a little slow getting us our bill, I understood because it was extremely busy. Also, they automatically added the gratuity for our party of 5.

Questions & Answers

Neither myself or friends have experienced that kind of treatment at this establishment. I do feel they can be a bit lackadaisical at times for a busy restaurant. Lastly, if you feel that way - then call them out on it while it's occurring! Confront the issue....bet you they'll think twice before they act towards you and others again!

Opening a tab is pretty standard anywhere to be honest.

Angel welcomes everybody: Blacks, Whites, Reds, Yellows, Avatars, Olives, Gays, Goats, Giraffes. And all’s allowed to dance around your dining table. Equal Rights!
