Zuzu Cafe

Portions are small, prices are high, food is not very good, the place is not cleaned well. Staffed by employees that seem to dislike being there. I liked the self-bused tables and self-serve water. The outside seating is nice when there is not too much traffic, but that rarely seems to happen.

Super fun place. Good food, lots of stuff for kids to do (Legos, sand box, other toys), super nice staff. Very enjoyable evening. I do believe the hours are incorrect (they were open later than google thought).

I love ZuZu's! I used to go there as a kid and now it's great to go as an adult. It's very cozy and has a great atmosphere. The food is great too!

The breakfast food and coffee beverages were amazing. I enjoyed sitting out on the patio area amongst the beautiful flowers. I would highly recommend this place.

This is the cutest little cafe. The only difficulty is deciding whether you're going to drink tea and coffee, or beer and wine. Sandwiches are good as is the vegetarian chili. The ambiance is perfect, without seating areas, sofa areas, and a kids area. The crowning touch is a kaleidoscope pointed at a plant on a spinning stand.

Lovely Cafe with great food and friendly staff. Their daily specials are interesting and worth trying for something new.

I live in the neighborhood and love bringing people here. The sandwiches are yummy and the soup is delish, always worth the upgrade! If you come on the right night, there's live music.

I have lived in Madison for years and have never made it to ZuZu's until today. Definitely glad I decided to stop by as I was not disappointed. I had the Chicken Mirguez, which was excellent! The chicken was incredibly soft and very flavorful. I would highly recommend it, although the Gyro special looked really good too! Very impressed by the food and the service. Will definitely be stopping by again.

Upon opening on Sunday, the surface of the wooden tables is sticky (maybe from varnish deteriorated with cleaners), the chairs clearly haven't been wiped down in a while, and a tea bag costs $2.75. The food is good and the staff is nice.

Great stop after Vilas zoo. Great food & drink options, including ice cream. Great play area for kids & nice outdoor seating.

They had a good menu of sandwiches, should and salads, and the food was tasty. However, I can't give it a 5 Star because you cannot customize any of the sandwiches since they are premade that morning. They do not have gluten free bread. If you have allergies this place will have limited options.

A great little family friendly cafe right across from the zoo.
