Decided to check out Sam's BBQ. today.As I walked in from the side, I noticed that they have a inside- kinda outside seating area that looks rustic.Walking through the doors into the main restaurant area I saw a Southern style menu board and a kitchen area behind the counter.The inside of the restaurant is also rustic with a cool train track going around the upper inside of the restaurant.I ordered a 1/2 slab of pork ribs that came with a slice of garlic bread and to sides. ( I chose the chili and potato salad) I also got order of there Hush puppies that come with honey butter.Chili 2.5 starsPotato salad (meh) 2 stars tops Hush puppies 5 out of 5 stars so good then add the honey butter (just takes it to another level)Pork ribs soft with plenty of meat on the bones, cooked with a BBQ sauce and glazed. 3.5 stars. Good.Service was also good 4 stars.

One of the few places I know of that serves beef ribs. Unfortunately, mine had more fat than meat. Probably won't order those again. Great smokey flavor though! Pulled pork sandwiches were very good. Garlic bread would have been perfect if it hadn't been cold. Fries were good, but wasn't a fan of the chili. Service was OK, but I have a feeling we weren't seeing them at their best that night. Willing to try them again.
