Interesting building and facility. It houses the Dayton, Ohio German Society. Decor is very much in keeping with the German vibe. Very welcoming people. Would be a good place for a medium size get together or meeting with a homey feel.

Attended Schlachtfest (Hog Roast) in The Rathskeller (cellar beer hall). Delicious food and fellowship!

Love this place! Sunday and Monday lunches are the best but you'd better come hungry!

Loved the food! Huge portions of extremely filling and very authentic German food. The prices were higher than I was expecting, but the portion size immediately brought them into line. The Sauerkraut was probably the best I have ever eaten. Sweet and mild, with only a weak vinegar taste. I loved it. The German beer selection was predictably excellent with three beers on tap. I waddled away wondering if I should Invade France, or just go home and sleep it off. It was awesome!

This is solid food. You feel full the rest of the day. Potato salad was very interesting. Seemed to have an apple sauce base. Lunches served mondays. Follow the staircase down to the lunchroom.

Had fun peeking at the Kristkindl markt. Friendly vendors though not what I expected from a German Club.

Since Dayton is a very German city, you should expect excellent Rathskeller and pubs. To a certain extent, she doesn't disappoint. This is Dayton's best nationality group. They offer German cuisine every day and in the bar you feel like you are in an inn deep in the forests of Bavaria. I love functions here and the amazing people who run the show. Excellent!

This is the home of Dayton's oldest German organization that promotes the culture and traditions of Germany. This is a great venue for large meetings and clubs. We attended the traditional Christmas bazaar complete with German foods and of course beers. It had a large show room for German Christmas crafts. Had a great time.
