We got the birria pizza, soronese bolognese, and the pistachio dessert tacocannoli . Loved the pizza, the crust we really good! I didn’t love the red and green salsa in the pasta, but the bread bowl it came in was amazing. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. Definitely worth a try!

A+ Food, F in service. The Fig pizza and the whiskey fundido were fantastic, however, we were forgotten about twice. We ordered a bottle of wine, they never brought it, we had to finally ask for it. Then we ordered dessert and the waitress who took my order again forgot about us and said she didn’t know we ordered dessert. We were there on a Monday evening, the restaurant was busy, but not packed there were maybe only 5 other tables. I would consider ordering take out, but I won’t go back to actually dine-in there.

Literally some of the best pizza we have had anywhere. Don't let the location fool you, this isn't a "feed the kids frozen pizza ingredients" kind of place. Margherita pizza was spot on and the birria was hands down best slice the family has had in a long time! Legit pizza, dude was tossing it in the air in front of us. Close to lots of entertainment across the street for the family! Waiter was polite and food service was speedy, which is always appreciated.

Best find for most delicious pizza and pasta we have had in a long time! Between the presentation and flavor, it was enjoyable with every bite.

Delicious risotto and that bread with garlic and olive oil was to die for! The shrimp Alfredo was also good!

From the outside Zio doesn't look like much; however, once inside you are pleasantly surprised and impressed. You are first greeted by the host(ess) and then you get to place your order but don't wait on a server because you order on your own. After you place your order you get to enjoy the time with your family and friends while waiting on your meal. The meal is then brought to you by a server and it is delicious. I had the lobster and shrimp pasta which was incredible. The peas in the dish gave it a hint of sweetness which cut the spiciness of the sauce, in a good way. I would highly recommend ordering the bread. It is freshly baked and served with a garlic oil, which is freshly grated at your table. The bread was hot and firm on the outside while maintaining its soft and warm inside. The Caesar salad was another dish I would recommend. When you receive this salad don't let the size of the freshly made croutons scare you, they are too delicious. In any case, Zio Peppe is a diamond in the rough and I highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.

Joe, our waiter was great and that was just a bonus. The pasta, pizza, and bread were spot on. You can taste the difference with fresh ingredients. Highly recommend.

I love that updated mixed twist they put on a common pizza. Definitely want to go here again, and try more the menu

Didn't look busy at all, but oddly told l needed a reservation??? So l didn't get to try it. The Google page didn't indicate that a reservation was mandatory.

Modest in appearance, but punches WAY above its weight in food impression. Nominally, a pizza joint, but I still haven't managed to get past all the other items on the menu to actually try the pizza, because the pasta is SO damn good. Great selection of local and Italian wine and some super cool cocktails. This is one of those restaurants that make Tucson such a great foodie town. #foodie
