A staple of Ann Arbor scene. Brunch is delicious as well as regular lunch and dinner. All the food is great, including desserts. But what makes it for me is the omellet with biscuits and crispy potatoes on a Sunday.

Truly an institution in Ann Arbor. Pretty expensive but worth every penny. The food, the food, the food. Delicious in every way. Such a treat. Every year we visit on our wedding anniversary. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is fun, our waiters are always knowledgeable and engaging. I read another review saying people are virtue signalling when they go here. I didn't even know what that meant. No, people dine here because they want delicious food prepared by people that mean what they say. That's it. Zingerman's belongs to all of us. They are community oriented and wonderful people. It doesn't get any better than this.

I love Zingerman’s Roadhouse. They have an extensive gluten free menu which includes gluten free fried chicken!

Probably the most iconic restaurant in Ann Arbor. Good staff and amazing food. If you have a family or friend visiting Ann Arbor you should take them here.

Great food- a little pricey- but fresh and homemade. The barbecue is good for the north. Hustle environment - with friendly staff.

Was very nice, the food was great and the owner and staff said goodbye to all of us at the end.

The food is a 5, for certain. The barbeque plate is the bomb! Ribs fall off the bone, pulled pork is awesome, even the mashed potatoes and greens are good. Now, unfortunately, over the past couple of years, the variety/uniqueness of the beer offered, has decreased. While still decent, I would give the drinks 4 stars...I can't rate 5 star overall, so will rate 4 star because sometimes reservations take little long to be filled.

I loved this place! The best food I've had in forever along with an awesome waiter (Alex maybe?) who took the time to discuss with us the restaurant's history and a little something about how the food was sourced. A truly great experience all around. Impressed by them for sure!

My first experience at this location and it did not disappoint! We came with a very large group for a birthday party and we were seated very close to our scheduled reservations. While waiting though we were able to have drinks by the bar and enjoy their draft craft beers and ciders and delicious cocktails. Our party was seated outside and it was a little hot and humid but thankfully they had fans running which made it more comfortable. We had two servers for our tables and they were excellent! Alex was our server and I was overly impressed with him. I had a couple of requests because of my crazy kid and he was quick to respond and help a mother out lol. Also all of our food was excellent when it came out and he was very helpfully on navigating the menu for us since there was so much to choose from. All in all an amazing experience where the food was excellent but the service surpassed expectations. I would definitely recommend coming again :)

I’ve been here at least half a dozen times now. The short of it is that it’s just not as good as I want it to be. Everything feels underseasoned, but especially things that should be bursting with flavor, like the mac and cheese and the gravy. With all the adjectives they use to describe each dish and meal, it seems they are also forgetting salt and attention to layering of flavors. My last meal was a breakfast blue plate special, and while it was easily the least expensive meal I’ve had here, it was also the most disappointing. It wasn’t any better than the absolutely horrible diners closer to me, which is a very low bar that they are slamming right into. I’ve had some good meals here, and I love that they are basically communists. But perhaps at the next collective workers tribunal they can taste their food and figure out where the flavor is escaping to.

On Monday my friend and I visited for lunch. We had a 15 minute wait for a table. Upon getting to our seat we were welcomed as first time guests by our marvelous server, Michael. He brought us samples of some of their famous dishes to try. The new cream of chicken soup was amazing. Also the sweet potato fries! The smoked pulled pork was another sample we tried, and was delicious. We both had salads and shared a half order of the fries. The salads were a bit plain after trying the yummy samples. Michael treated us like friends and family and was very thorough. We will be back because of him and the marvelous food.

Delicious food (I had "Harissa-coated Pollock" served on a bed of couscous and arugula, spouse had a "half-slab" of smoked BBQ Ribs) served very hot by friendly, relaxed, and professional wait staff. Prices are high, but good place for a special occasion.

Great smoked meats. Excellent service. My date loved the fried Chicken.

The food and service are very good, great smells and casual atmosphere. However, food is incredibly expensive. Over $75 for 1 dish, 1 appetizer, and 1 non-alcoholic soft drink, not including the tip. I really didn’t feel like it was worth the price, but I think you will get a good tasting meal.
