Ziki Japanese Steak House

So good absolutely the best sushi in the Kalamazoo/Portage area my favorite is the crazy salmon. If you get the chance to go highly recommend for sushi lovers and my 12 year old daughter loved the calamari and it was her first time trying it.

My wife and I have not had a bad dining experience here. Our server was extremely friendly, the food was delicious. We had the lunch combo rolls with the dragon and rainbow rolls. All delicious! We look forward to going back. The cost may be off putting but reasonable for quality sushi.

After i heard a lot of good reviews about this place and being a fan of sushi, i gave a try at this place right a way. Here are my score Each star for the following1. The owner was super friendly. He did not jump into talking about specials. But, wanted to know what i wanted2. The whole place was welcoming and lively3. The place was really clean and not a speck of dust anywhere4. The food is very inexpensive and really yummy. The portions are also huge. I can lay it down and say its the best sushi in Kalamazoo. 5. They have daily and lunch specials. But did not see dinner specials. So 4 stars. I am definitely going back again soon.

Great food and service. Rolls were delicious and the presentation was nice. Our server went above and beyond to accomodate our picky 2 year old and was extremely gracious about it. Will definitely be back

Always delicious!! Hands down our favorite sushi restaurant in the area. The area being a 50 mile radius of the Michigan Indiana State line. Favorite because of service is fast and food is top quality and tasty.

Best sushi in the Kalamazoo Portage area. Maru opened downtown and is supposed to be good but compared to Ziki, Maru is a supermarket sushi.

Chashu pork ramen was everything I wanted it to be. Very delicious!!

We tried this place based on the reviews and we weren't disappointed! The server we had was very attentive and nice. The chef even came over to see how everything was. Our food came out very quickly as well. We ordered the steak hibachi, crab rangoons, crispy spicy roll and the funny dragon roll. All of the food was really good and even presented well. The atmosphere and decor of the place was modern and comfortable. Even though it's located in a strip mall, you wouldn't even know it.

The food is excellent (I loved the presentation), the prices are good (for hibachi), & the service is fantastic (Hayley was very attentive). Please note: it's hibachi food, but they don't cook it in front of you.

Outstanding sushi, reasonably priced, served by super great staff. We drive right past Maru to go to Ziki.

I've eaten at Ziki quite a few times since they first opened and I love their food. They are always consistent and they use quality ingredients. My husband has several things that he loves on the menu. His favorites are their soups and noodle dishes, mine is the hibachi. Everything that we've eaten has been delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant. :-)

My husband and I love this place! Our favorite is the Hibachi and/or Bento lunch specials. Fresh crisp vegetables and delicious savory sauces make it a no brainer when it comes to where we order food. Best deal in town as far as we are concerned:)
